Taylor interview was so cringe. He's such a dope. Think Wayne needs a fresh pair of undies though. Face on him when Taylor went mad.

Hope Webster shows up here in the same form as the last day.

He will give mvg a fright if he does.

Taylor reminds of David Brent, says he can take criticism and roll with until someone says something and he has a mini breakdown. Reminds me when Andy Fordham was asked about the Power. He said respects Taylor as a brilliant darts player but didn't really like him as a person. Well Taylor nearly had a melt down afterwards.

    Oh Darren...

Webster should have won that set

Jaysus, can't give up a gift horse like that against the green guy.

    Big slip up there.

He said 'you seemed relaxed tonight, and in your first match'. He then asked why he didn't seem comfortable against Kevin.

He knew what he was doing.

It doesn't excuse Taylor, but Mardle definitely laid the bait.

Good we need a bit of that, too many people pander to the Power.

    Webster bottled it.

It seems a reasonable enough question to me

Course it was a reasonable question.

Taylor can't take anything resembling criticism or not licking his arse. Always been the way.

When he does retire he'd be hard to listen to if the give him a spot with mardle and them

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,319 ✭✭✭Al_Coholic

Webster could be a few sets ahead but for a few missed doubles

Mardle would get the boot the poor lad! Well maybe that wouldn't be a bad thing either although, he has toned it down a bit this year.

    He deserved that.

If only he put away that first set it could be a very different game.

Imagine the amount of times we'd hear about Robbie Williams and Freddie Flintoff.

Webster's form at this stage in his career is amazing. Up to recently, you would have said he was a journeyman pro

Oh jesus, hope he keeps playing for a few years so. Be worse to listen to than Bristow for different reasons.

This years crew are fine, Part works well there

What a brilliant match that was, those last few legs were ridiculous.

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,990 ✭✭✭blackcard

    Wow

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,277 ✭✭✭✭mdwexford

Score line does not do that game justice.

Webster gave him a scare there, few doubles at the right time and he could have taken him to a deciding set there.

He's loaded and the best in the world at his sport?

What do you offer your missus?

A plethora of interesting questions? ;)

    MVG
    Taylor
    Wade
    Anderson

    All to win 2morrow

    MVG vs Anderson final

  • Registered Users Posts: 42,092 ✭✭✭✭Scorpion Sting

Van Gerwen was in a match there, fair play to Darren for fighting back. A lesser player than MVG would have buckled.

    Ha good man Wayne!

Taylor might interview badly but so does MvG. What did he say about Gurney, that he "only" beat Webster?
