    I detest Taylor but he's box office. He's a pantomime villain at this point, you tune in to see him if you like him or if you hate him.

    I think a big part of the appeal of the sport for a viewer is that the players aren't so media-trained that they don't come across as genuine in interviews. Sky obviously play up the character angle with their VTs and insistence on nicknames but it's that they come across as humans and not automatrons that really sells it.

    In most sports I couldn't give a fûck about an after-match interview (soccer, rugby and football are chronic for it) but I actively look forward to the interviews after a darts match.

    More to do with Wright's wife than Wright himself, it was Lewis that took most offence over it.

    havin been a fan of ando since his bdo days i never thought id ever say that he has some pair of balls on him now
    his scoring was always good, but when under pressure he missed doubles and then would fall apart soon after
    constant loosing of games he had wrapped up became the norm
    now he is a different animal
    he plays ok all year but the last few years once the worlds arrives he is a diff player
    lets not forget the last game he lost in the worlds was again mvg in a game he should have won 4 -1

    a joy to watch and a gentleman
    if he does 3 in a row it has to be better than taylor and bristow because of the talent now compared to then

    Agree strongly with the first prediction(put down 21 legs just in the fantasy darts).

    Fancy Taylor to won too as he seems to have a mental edge over Barney, hope I am totally wrong though and Barney hammers him 5-0:):)

    It's hard to know what to expect. Taylor is showing his age a bit and if a match drags on he's not the force he was. If it gets to 3-3 I'd fancy Barney.

    I said before the match started that MVG would win 5-1 but if that set is anything to go by ...
    As for Barney & Taylor I'd like to see it go to a shootout like '07 with Barney winning can't stand Taylor
