    Hi all.

Just wondering if any of you know any pubs in Dublin city centre that will be showing the darts to tonight?

    Thanks in advance

The Living Room will be showing it.

The perfect night, off to the pub to throw in a big doubles comp and of course the darts on the tv...

Expect MVG to win handy, Anderson to win a ding dong battle and me go out in first round:D

Any sport-oriented one I'd imagine. Sinnotts, the Woolshed etc. Not exactly central but the 51 on Haddington Road was my local sports-watching venue when I lived in the smoke...

    My predications are

    Anderson 6-4
Think he can pull something special out of the bag at crucial times when he needs it. Should be a cracker though.

    MVG 6-3
I expect Barney to play better than against Taylor but MVG is too just too much for him to handle unless he's at his absolute best.

    wright 6-3

That guy has ruined the darts for me.
I mean what is wrong with hiring someone who speaks English to call the score in a clear voice we can understand.
    That guy needs throat lozenges

Russ speaks perfect English and is very easy to understand once you remove your head from your arse. He's done a fair bit of voice work for television advertisements.

I'm going with Anderson and Barney.

  • Registered Users Posts: 837 ✭✭✭Gotya

    Bet for tonight,

Anderson -1.5 @8/13 (wright not to get to 5 sets)
Barney +3.5 @5/6 (Barney to get to 3 sets)

    Double 2.96

I think Wright will give Anderson a good rattle. Would like to see him win but an Anderson v MvG final would, on paper at least be a better final.
That is assuming of course MvG gets past Barney. I think he will but Barney won't go down without a fight either.

    Controversial

I quite like Russ Bray his name actually is perfect for someone with such a crusty voice and I love doing imitations of him.

    Bad start for Snakebite.

Needs to sort it out pronto or Gary will be gone out of sight fast.

Wright's issue seems the same as ever. His doubling.

He cannot beat Anderson doubling at below 40%, and it possibly needs to be higher than that.

He hasn't had that problem all tournament, isn't he 60% on doubles all tournament!!?

Snakebite started relatively poor against Wade too.

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,279 ✭✭✭✭mdwexford

    Sick sick game.

Next set is gigantic for Wright.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 12,045 ✭✭✭✭gramar

Wright pegged it back to 2-2 and Anderson with a 12 dart leg. Ominous.

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,239 ✭✭✭alan partridge aha

He's came a long way from pegging his darts into the Lakeside.

Maybe. But it wasn't against Wade and it isn't close yet tonight.
