So he should, he just lost 3-0 to a fella who didn't play well at all bar some decent finishing.

Terrible game between Norris and John Michael standard is very poor.

Jesus I'm enjoying it, the big lad, Michael is bashing in some decent checkouts.

Reckon Norris will win it though, just gone 2/1

After losing his throw there I think Michael will fall apart altogether in the last set.

Even if he wins Norris will need to improve his doubles or he won't last much longer

Who are the crowd shouting, cheat, cheat, cheat, at?

They might need a 'caution wet floor' sign on that stage.

Mardle was saying that Norris was annoyed with the Greek about something though I'm not sure the crowd would have picked up on that. Maybe you're a bit mutt and jeff and it was 'greek greek greek?'

There was a sense of inevitability about the result even when Norris was two sets down.

How many feckin players are using that song as their walkout music this year? :pac:

All the prelim qualifiers that don't have their own tune...

I'm not seeing where Platt got his nickname from :pac:

Would be nice if they had more than one option for them then.

I don't see the big deal about giving them their own song.

For the prelim qualifiers most of whom only walk out once I'm sure they could stretch the budget to cover that.

  • Registered Users Posts: 38,455 ✭✭✭✭PTH2009

I wonder what Taylor is doing differently ??

Don't think he will win it out

That's the conundrum sure. They'd be paying big money for absolute nobodies. No point. I kinda agree with their thinking to be honest.

Hope Cadby don't **** himself tonight in front of the big crowd and lose against Sun or Joe Cullen.

Adrian Lewis vs Cadby would be a good 2nd round game. It could be firey but nothing will happen as usual lol

As far as I know they only allow songs which are dirt cheap, generally those which they've already paid for via them being in a catalogue of 10,000s of songs.
Players often have their selected walk-on songs vetoed by the PDC for this reason, and are told to select from the pre-paid lists.

Probably a bit more flexibility with the superstar players obviously.

Cadby looks a serious talent. A match against a better player might even raise his game, and he's damn good in this prelim.

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,625 ✭✭✭ThebitterLemon

    That lad Cadby looks lively.

Looking forward to his match later with Cullen (assuming he closes this out)
