    Hi Guys

Were looking to upgrade our camcorder for the facebook videos we do in our business.

We currently use use a Canon Legria HF R606.

Were looking for something with better quality and high definition. Our videos are all done indoors under floressent lights if that makes a difference. Heres an example of the quality we have right now https://youtu.be/QUWD3QzCyxc

The budget is 500-750 and im planning on buying second hand from a reseller on ebay to get a better spec camcorder.

Im absolutely clueless with this stuff, if anyone could point out what spec is important or models that should be considered, that would be a huge help?

    Cheers guys

    I presume you're Phil? :)

That camera's not going to set the world on fire, but it's not the main thing that's impacting on the overall quality of the video.

It'll do Full HD / 1080p, so that's more than enough for YouTube 'how to' type videos.

The big thing you can do to make a MASSIVE difference is to stand out from that wall, light things properly and capture your audio using a better microphone.

If it was me, I'd invest in a simple 2/3 light setup (CFL or LED - There are many options) and something like a Rode Smart Lav Plus, which will pick up your voice and help eliminate some of the echo from the room.

Basic lighting setups are available from about 150 euro upwards.

No matter what camera you end up using in future, that's the right place to start.
