    Thinking of getting these from Overclockers in the UK;

    Case Corsair Carbide Air 540 Cube

    Motherboard MSI Z170A Gaming M7 Intel Z170 (Socket 1151) DDR4 ATX Motherboard

    Processor Intel Core i7-6700K 4.0GHz (Skylake) Socket LGA1151 Processor - OEM

    CPU Cooler be quiet! Silent Loop Superior Liquid CPU Cooler - 240mm

    Memory Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 PC4-24000C15 3000MHz Dual Channel Kit - Black

    Graphics Card MSI GeForce GTX 1080 ARMOR OC 8192MB GDDR5X PCI-Express

    Drives
    M.2 Solid State Drive (For OS) Samsung PM961 Polaris 1TB M.2-2880 PCI-e 3.0 x 4 NVMe Solid State Drive
    Solid State Drive for games Samsung 2.0TB 850 EVO SSD 2.5" SATA 6Gbps 32 Layer 3D V-NAND Solid State Drive
    Other HD WD Black 4TB 7200rpm SATA 6Gb/s 128mb Cache HDD - OEM

    Power Supply XFX XTR Series 850W 80 Plus Gold Fully Modular Power Supply

    Do these parts make sense together? Thought about getting two 1080 for SLI, but now I think I'll keep the cash for the next upgrade cycle and another single card.

    Save yourself a hat of money and half the size of the two SSDs, I've Windows on a 120gb SSD and it's more than loads for it.

    Correct about the SLI cards, bad idea.

    1440p144 or 4k?

    Some seriously impressive storage there! The thing will be lightning fast, if you have the money of course why not! For budget purposes theres definitely a few areas to shave a few euro. Also, what monitor do you have out of interest?

    Thanks Solitude, I've currently got a 2560 x 1440 Dell monitor (27 I think) It's not got gaming specs (fast refresh). Debating if I want/need a better one. Hard to decide as what I have seems grand.

    Honestly a 250gb OS drive and 500gb for games is plenty, now you have money so go 750gb or 1tb if you want but 1tb for Windows is pointless.

    A 1070 will show no real difference from a 1080 at 1440p60, I'd up the monitor in your shoes to 1440p144 or even an Ultra wide
