Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Liverpool-vs-Leeds-Preview-Prediction-29th-November-2016-English-League-Cup.jpg

    Team News

Liverpool forward Philippe Coutinho will miss Tuesday's EFL Cup quarter-final against Championship side Leeds with suspected ankle ligament damage.
Roberto Firmino is unlikely to be risked and Daniel Sturridge (also calf) is out, while Simon Mignolet will replace Loris Karius in goal.
Leeds boss Garry Monk has not said whether he will name his strongest side or make changes like in past rounds.

I hope Leeds go with Viduka up front again...failing that, keeping the score respectable will have to be the target...

Monk has to name his strongest side and give it a go. As long as we put up a decent performance and are not humiliated I'll be happy.

    I guess Daniel still doesn't feel 100%.

Interesting line up. This is a big step up for these lads. Could be tough. Great for their development if they do well.

Klopp must trust these lads though as I'm sure he's keen to win this tournament if possible.

    I guess Daniel still doesn't feel 100%.

Did you ever think that he might just simply be genuinely injured?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,397 ✭✭✭✭Turtyturd

    Thought Grujic would have started.

That's a great story of TAA being a mascot with Carragher in 2009 when Liverpool last played Leeds.
You just couldn't make it up.

TAA needs a prod to go forward, he has great pace, shouldn't be afraid to use it.

I know but in a world where writers create stories about cloned dinosaurs and people with superpowers making up the TAA story seems entirely plausible.

Terrible call by the Linesman there, a good 5 yards in his own half when the ball was played

Think the history between them was always pretty good, from the time the Kop applauded the 69 Leeds side off the pitch at Anfield when both were fighting for the title. And the Justice for the 96 campaign was always well received outside Elland Road, Leeds fans hate the South Yorkshire police.
