variable or LTV ?

    so my mortgage fixed rate has ended @5.5%
    I am wondering is LTV better than variable?
    approx 120k left on mortgage
    value of house approx 160k
    doing this from work so dont have the correct figures , but in general is LTV a better option considering i have a higher value house than the remaining mortgage
