Tried that alright even as far as entering payment details but amount doesn't drop. Don't see any reference to the 3:2 offer on their website either. Will leave it for now as would only considering buying them at the reduced rate.
Maplin had the 3:2 offer advertised but they didn't have stock last time I checked.

Ok just checked there the 3 for £99 sign is gone so looks like you are right they have taken it down. I ordered last night so must have just got in before they removed it.

I tried to impress a lady today with setting a music alarm and Google home just made a mockery of me.

Hey Google....set an alarm to play RTE 2 FM at 9am.

This plays 2FM from Tunein for me.
Working on mini and regular GH.

Google Home App - Menu - More Settings - Shortcuts

I attempted this, but "Shortcuts" doesn't appear on my iPhone.

I also discovered that "Google Assistant" doesn't appear in the iOS App Store. Just wondering if this is because I am in Ireland.
    Any thoughts?

Yeah you need to change the language to English US

Although it'd be nice to be able to use that feature, it's not worth the hassle of having to listen to the irritating American voice.

In the Google Assistant app, select the device and then set:
"Assistant Language" to English (United States)

BTW I see there is Australian and Canadian now too!

I actually find the male US voice by far the best.
The uk female voice is just annoying.

I have always thought of an AI robot to be male. Dunno why

Our GH's answer in us voice for most normal things but switches to uk for the weather.

I assumed this was due to the location of were the weather report was for (uk closest to us) and possible the source of the weather (uk met?)
