For some stupid reason, shortcuts still don't seem to be available in the UK version.

The feature appeared for me briefly last year. During that time I created some shortcuts that still work fine.
However, I can't see any option in the app to add new ones anymore. Seems to have been removed.

That is weird! I can still add new ones.

I've my account set up as US and the settings for it are actually in the Google Assistant app.

Seemingly a more powerful rules engine is coming soon, perhaps they are waiting for that to launch it.

Actually... It shows how it doesn't pay to be patriotic! I had my Language set to English (Ireland) and switching it to English (UK) did the job. Suddenly, a range of options re-appeared: Voice casting, Video options and short cuts!

All just in time as I'm welcoming a new member to my family : another mini Google!

Looks like multi step routines are rolling out in the US:

Early days for it. Shortcuts + Stringify are more powerful for now, though the above can do some things that Stringify can't.

Yup,agree.

Thanks to the two above for confirming it's back, hopefully it stays that way. I was discussing with another poster about getting a petetion going to ask Google to officially support the home in Ireland.

1. With the hope of getting radio streamed from the source ( not tunein ), like it currently does with BBC.
2. Getting free calls in Ireland via Home, like UK*
3. Actually being able to buy the thing here in a shop.

*People seem to be in two camps about this being a big deal or super simple. I used and Google voice to make calls in Ireland so they have the digital infrastructure, albeit I paid a very small amount but getting me use Home is basically free advertising for me.


Would anyone be willing to sign up? Leave a thanks on this post. Any suggestions about how to go about it?

Hmm, not on mine, and I've the latest version of the Home app. Does it depend on if you've set it to UK/US English?

On mine, set to US as well, under more settings. Just one routine available at the minute called Good Morning which can be customised. More will be coming in due course apparently.

Changed the language on both my phone and GH to U English, restarted the phone, still no routines.

Looks like TuneIn has stopped working again this morning on GH. Well it has for me anyway. No stations working.

Regarding the RTE radio issue, got a reply from them:
