They drove their Renault Laguna towards Kevin Street garda station where a passing cyclist, who spotted their distress, came to their aid.

The good Samaritan called paramedics who remained on the phone to talk Stephen and Lisa through the delivery.
“I ran around to Lisa and by the time I was around the baby was half way out. I pulled him out the rest of the way," said the father.

“The paramedic on the phone the phone talked me through a couple of bits and pieces. He told me to clear the airways.”
