Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Zanussi ZWD 1272 W not working - error code E41

We have a 6 year old Zanussi ZWD 1272 W that was working fine until today when it refused to start and just flashes ERR. I ran diagnostic mode and it says error E41, which some online sources said is a door close error. I can't see anything wrong with the door, seal or locking mechanism and nothing happened it between the successful wash this morning and the one this evening.

    Any ideas or suggestions?

The error points to the door interlock. A fault to the door lock mechanism will be internal and invisible unless you remove it and dismantle it (not recommended)
It contains a bi-metal strip which weakens/fails over time.
Probably your best bet is to replace it and take it from there, and hope that it hasn't 'taken out' a component on the PCB when it failed.
Have a look at www.espares.co.uk videos on how to replace it (simple enough)

REMEMBER... POWER OFF BEFORE WORKING ON ANY APPLIANCE...!!
