    23euro/m2 for 80x40 matt porcelain floor tiles, Dublin region. Have seen the tilers work and it is very good alright.

    Usually tell people to budget 30 per sq. M
    If it's cheaper they save. So sounds ok tbh

    you've seen his work and are happy with is quality, that is worth something in itself.

    based on above you also seem to be getting at a good price (per comments) which is a bonus.
