Best backpackers insurance?

    Hey,

    Me and my SO are leaving Ireland for SE Asia on the 26th of January for 6 - 10 months depending on our funds.

    I'm researching travel insurance but I'm unsure about who to get it from. Multitrip seem to have a really good plan for fairly cheap and so do Backpackertravelinsurance.ie but I'd like to hear from someone who's had some experience with either, or if anyone knows a better option.

    Travel blogs everywhere swear by World Nomad but they're obviously sponsored and it's way more expensive than the ones I've mentioned and even covers less.

    I'd also like my insurance to cover our electronics (GoPro, Iphones, Macbook etc) as we'll be trying to make a living using these things.

    Any info will be a huge help!

    I used backpackersinsurance.ie when i was away and thankfully didn't have to make any claims... I'd obviously read through the fine print to make sure all your electronics are covered if anything happens to them

    Hi just wondering did you manage to get good travel insurance in the end?

    Myself and SO are also heading to SE Asia on Jan 10th to travel for 5 months. I'm looking to get good backpacker insurance but finding that the level of cover and premiums are varying wildly.
