Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Kick off in 15 minutes, not available on terrestrial tv from what I can see.

    1abfd8622d43d6b8fc0dd06f75447030.png

Barça in poor enough form for themselves, 2 away draws in the last 2 games and start the game 6 points behind Real who haven't dropped a point in the league since the 2nd of October.

EDIT - Cant resize the pic, could a mod help me out plz.

Although I'll be going for Barca, I think Madrid will win, they haven't been spectacular but they just look more solid.

Two caveats. Barca results against Malaga and chiefly socieadad have to discounted to some degree. Regardless of form they always struggle against those teams.

Real despite their unbeaten run are not without their issues either. But they are certainly the side with least issues. Barca midfield is a huge problem. They're not press resistant and neither Messi or Neymar put in to shift to compensate. Busquets been off form since start of season, iniesta injured means teams can press high against them this season. Added to this is replacement of alves with roberto and they really do struggle to beat high presses.

Real are without bale which is huge. Real tend to struggle with possession and positional play (Think their UCL final against atletico last may) but with Barca being the opponents this should be less of a problem. The fact that neither Messi or Neymar provide support also means real should find it easier to retain higher offensive possession.

Both teams are not as good as they were.
Definitely seeing a decline in both teams in the last 4 months.

Both sides denied pretty clear penalties.

Mascherano took down Vasquez in the 2nd minute very clearly.

Madrid just handled the ball as it was crossed in there. Hands well out from the body.

On one side ya have the yank who over pronounces everything and would suit American football better on other side have eccentric loon who's there just to make noises and hype everything up.

Madrid with the best opportunities and should've had a penalty after Mascheranos foul.

Great defending from Alba. Benzema needs to hit that a lot earlier.

Barca look brilliant since the goal.

Sgould be 3 up now really.

    Busquets dominating the middle.

Good header from Ramos, but poor, limp wristed attempt to save from ter Stegen.

Real have been on top the last 10 minutes or so, deserved equaliser tbh.

    Free header, terrible defending again

Gotta think that Barça feel that its 2 points dropped. Neymar and Messi both had good chances to put them 2-0 up. Chances you'd expect them to take.

A majestic hoof of a free kick onto Sergio Ramos's skull quietens the mighty Barcelona. Screams of YES! YES! YES! ring out amid the camp nou as Real's unbeaten streak continues. Zidane's tactical masterclass has again left fellow professionals in awe.

    Plenty they can do.

Sky show games at 3pm for their Irish audience. No reason they couldn't have a red button option available on the Premier League match they were showing that would allow Irish viewers to watch el classico.

I think the draw was a fair result, not the best quality Clasico.

How often does Ramos pop up and score big goals for Madrid? Man's a legend.
