Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Possible teams:

    sport-preview-united.jpg?w=704&strip=all

Everton have lost four of their last five meetings with Manchester United in all competitions (W1), with the most recent of those defeats coming in the FA Cup semi-final last season.
Manchester United have won at Goodison Park on 15 occasions in the Premier League; at no other away venue have they won more often in competition history.
Everton have won three of their last four Premier League games against United at Goodison Park (L1); this after winning just three of their previous 20 in the competition beforehand.

Romelu Lukaku has played for Everton on six occasions in the league against Manchester United without scoring; his most against one team without finding the net for the Toffees.
No duo has created more chances for each other in the Premier League this season than Paul Pogba and Zlatan Ibrahimovic (16).
Everton have outrun their opponents on just one occasion this season (vs Swansea); a league-low.
After winning four of his first five Premier League matches with Everton (D1), Ronald Koeman has won just once in his last eight in charge of the Toffees (D3 L4).

Zlatan Ibrahmovic now has seven Premier League goals this season for Manchester United; more than twice as many as any other Red Devils player (Mata and Rashford – three goals).

I like that we're now using throat lozenges to indicate players' positions.

Ah if only both teams could lose!

Everton have been poor enough of late and i'd expect utd to win by 2 or 3.

Surely mkhitaryan and martial have played their way into starting 11.

Two keepers is an interesting tactic, I wonder will Romero still wear gloves.

    Has to happen
I will lose the rag if Lingard starts ahead of them

Would be criminal if Myhk doesn't start, surely the man has done enough to earn a spot.

Sam Luckhurst saying Herrera is doing a captains part during the warm up,geeing up the players.

With that back four,we'll need to score 3 at least to get the 3 points.

Jones and rojo have done well the last couple of games tbf

It's almost a certainty that Lukaku will score, so we'll have to score 2 or 3

Or 5 if we bottle it like the earlier game

Against relatively poor opposition tbf, Lukaka on his day is a monster.

I fancy Everton for this one, Lukaku is due for a big game after a couple of poor ones. They've been in poor form recently but they are going to break out very shortly if not today and go on a good run. I just think today is the day they end their bad run but I'm not sure why I do.

    Pure filth.

  • Should have been red
And the ref ****ed up the first decision and panicked again

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,358 ✭✭✭✭SlickRic

    Ref bottles it.

The lack of a Barry yellow in the ref's mind I reckon.

    Oliver is a terrible ref

He's the worst ref in the pl IMO

  • Registered Users Posts: 33,754 ✭✭✭✭RobertKK

TC23 complaining to the ref his brand has not done as well since he became a Toffee, and United should pay.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,308 ✭✭✭Pyjamarama

    Stonewall red.. blessed.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,966 ✭✭✭Liamalone

At least he's consistent, two decisions to make, got both blatantly wrong.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,725 ✭✭✭✭blueser

How the fcuk did he get away with only a yellow card there? That was a blatant red card offence.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,136 ✭✭✭✭Rayne Wooney

    Deserved to go for that

Brainless, this CB combo doesn't give any confidence

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,369 ✭✭✭Rossi IRL

    Barry deliberate handball.

    No booking

Should be off for a 2nd yellow.
