Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Bournemouth have scored whenever they got in and around us.

I just turned the game on there. Seems like I missed a great game.

From what I can see Liverpool have completely embarrassed themselves and crumbled in a comical fashion.

Can you guys confirm if that's correct?

Ref nearly cost Bouremouth, good to see them battle back for a deserved win

    How?

I think its fair to say our initial impressions of Karius were correct.

Doesn't excuse that absolute naivety tho.

We have to learn to hold a 2 goal lead with 15 left.

Manager left with serious egg on his face.

Rubbish. As bad going forward as we were defending, I can't believe we managed to score 3 goals.

Klopp's inability to park a bus so far in his career is why he'll never be a great manager

    The irony is brilliant

Just too funny that was. Fair play to Bournemouth

  • What a savage game. Credit to Bournemouth
Tricky side and will continue to dig out results

Liverpool really should have made an attempt to sign Joe Hart when he was available.

He may not be quite world class but he's a quality keeper on a title winning team.

Very few top class goalies around but he's a good bit better than what they've got.

No Mane again having a huge impact, Liverpool did nothing upfront once he went off.

The AFCON will be a major problem..

Hats off to Bournemouth. We've done that to a number of clubs over the years, this is what it feels like then! Fair play to them. 15 games unbeaten is hard to sustain. Hopefully this is like Burnley, dropping points as a wake up call. At least this year when we're dropping points like this it's not to rivals.

Do you honestly think city would sell him to Liverpool

Ya the bloke gets a raw deal a lot of the time. I'd have given him a go.

Incredibly small margin. 3pt swing on those millimetres

Very impressive from Bournemouth. Matched Liverpools workrate and only one winner after that. Liverpool a shambles in the end.

Ryan Fraser fully deserved MOTM. He really changed the game. Looks a player

Don't know but I'm surprised they didn't even enquire.

If he threw his toys out of the pram about it and insisted on the move they may have had no choice and I'd fancy he'd prefer to be playing for Liverpool than Torino.

Klopp in post match interview "We opened them the door and they ran through with their hats" that was EXACTLY what I was thinking.

Yeah would have been interesting to know if the goal would have been given by the ref if he didn't have the chip technology, as to the naked eye that must have looked like a goal.

The goal is karma for a stone wall peno in the 1st half when Fermino took down the Bournemouth player.

Liverpool bottled that. I was sure it was going to be there year

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 38,977 ✭✭✭✭eagle eye

Second half was just all over the place. Liverpool seemed to come out with an attitude of what we have we hold and they obviously are not capable of that. When Bournemouth got one back they came back to their best again and made it 3-1 but then seemed to go back into their shell again. I think if they had kept up the high pressing for the whole game they'd have won it comfortably.

It's all about how they react to this loss now, you have to learn from your defeats and get better.

Was not even the best 4-3 result today

Said it before but Karius ain't good enough. I think offensively Liverpool may be the best in the league, but you need a goalkeeper to bail you out every now and again. It could cost them the title. I wonder might Klopp consider a move for Kevin Trapp who has lost his spot at PSG; he at least has quality and could be prized away in January with a good offer possibly.

    Well done Bournemouth.

Clinical when they needed to be.

Lots of questions about Liverpool's mental strength that need to be answered. It's ridiculous that we lose that game after being 3-1 up with 20 minutes to go.

    Inexcusable.

Inexcusable but things will go badly wrong from time to time. The Burnley game for exanple. The bigger test of mental strength is how they react to this setback.

In the grand scheme of things this result will only hurt us if we allow it to.

Bournemouth must have played some DKM at half time. They were inspired by something anyway.
