    Hi lads.

I'm looking to dip my foot into the world of projectors. I want to stay on the budget side, so was looking at the three on your .ie site listed below the 400 mark. I'm leaning towards the Optoma hd141x, but am open to any suggestions you have

It will mainly be used for movie watching, with some gaming usage from an Xbox one. I'm hoping to have a pull down screen covering the bay window area of my living room. (Do you sell screens?) Due to limitations imposed by my wife:) the projector will have to be mounted under a coffee table about 2 metres from the screen. I'd like to aim for a 100" diagonal screen size, about 1.5m of the floor.

Any and all advice is welcome, plus the best price you could do for projectors & screens. I'm based in Cork.

    Thanks!

    Hi lads,
Any advice for me on this? Don't want to hurry ye, but I'm conscious of delivery lead times coming up to Christmas.

Hi Jambur, apologies for the delay in getting back to you, we have been incredibly busy the last while but are getting caught up now

To get a 100" picture with the likes of the Optoma HD141, you would need a throw distance (lens to screen) of around 3.8m to be honest.
Going with something like the Benq 670 - http://www.richersounds.ie/p-12120-w1070.aspx will allow a slightly shorter throw, of around 3metres, but that is pretty much the shortest throw I can think of off-hand if that is possible?

    Hi Brian,
No problem at all. I can appreciate it that it's your busiest time of year.
I've rejigged my layout, I'll have roughly 3m of throw, and will reduce screen size down to about 75" width. Do ye sell wall mountable pull down screens?
If ye do what would be best price\deal for a package?
    Thanks

    Hi Jam,

    thanks for your patience :)

No room for a boardie deal as most of these are already slaughtered but have a look at:

    BenQ TH670 Projector: £379
    http://www.richersounds.ie/p-202210-th670.aspx?swapstore=1

    Optoma 818 Bracket: £45

    http://www.richersounds.com/product/projector-screens/sapphire/sws180wsf-asr2/sapp-sws180wsf-asr2

We can do that bundle including shipping at £543

If you could go with the Optom DS9092 screen instead we can reduce that to £499
