It's a secret that has been handed down to me that must remain guarded until a worthy carrier of the Bounty line materialises.

Last night I threw loads of veg in the oven with bacon and chorizo in a big oven pot thing. I'll be eating it tonight and I know that the Chorizo is going to give it the zing that it needs.

Chorizo is soups and stews is also awesome.

I love chorizo but can't actually eat it. Love the flavour it gives to dishes but biting into it makes me queasy.

I have eaten feck all over the past few days. Have lost about 1/2 stone which sounds great in theory but I need food :(

Last night I had smoked salmon and potato - sliced smoked salmon at the bottom of a casserole dish with sliced potato on top and a mixture of light cream and milk poured over along with a good amount of scallions. Whacked in the oven and had with green beans. Yum.

Do you cook with it and throw it out? If so, send me the cooked stuff!!

Have you tried slicing it really thin or 'cubing' them?

Just had my mid morning Grenade Killa dark chocolate mint protein bar, they're probably the nicest ones out there.

I'm a weirdo for textures of food, putting chorizo in the oven is probably the most palatable texture.

Halloumi, parma ham and pine nut stuffed mushrooms with baby salad leaves dressed in balsamic vinaigrette. So good.

Followed by a mug of strong coffee and a slice (or 2) of lemon cake.

I ate my own weight in cold roast beef with some cheese while cooking dinner and didn't bother with dinner then. It was worth it though :)

    That sounds absolutely delicious.

I roasted chicken breasts with stuffing and ham today but didn't want any at the time myself so I'm eating mine now,it's still warm from the oven and I'm having it with a glass of white wine that was only 8e in Dunnes today and it's divine....even nicer because I've a day off tomorrow.

    .

Yeh if I'm cooking at home I chop it finely. The likes of chilli it's fine because it's cooked longer. I would take it out of soup before eating. Something like Huevos Rancheros I leave it big and don't eat it.

I don't know it is about it that make me feel sick. Makes no sense.

I got some scrambled eggs and toast down and feel far better for it.

Well I felt guilty about that fish n chips I had on Saturday.:D So yesterday I bought some Young's chip shop cod in batter. Anyone tried it? Its very good. My lovely wife was craving a fish n chips and the chipper is strictly off limits. So I baked two Cod fillets, made some homemade chips and plated it all up with some mushy peas and Colman's Tartare sauce. I had bread and butter too, the only meal I'd eat it with. Two very happy people and clean plates. As chef, I was very bold as dessert was hot chocolate fudge cake and chocolate icecream. A little treat for herself. Then I fecked off to watch the Ireland - Wales match.:D

Tonight was bangers and mash and beans. Sausages from the local bucther and mash as creamy as you can imagine. I had some onion gravy on top of it all! Happy out!

I had lunch today in a local-ish pub for a tenner... I swear I've never seen a plate with no many carrots and mashed potato in my life! Also the mash wasn't in scoops, it was kinda 'swayed' like a wave and it was blooming delicious! And turkey with cranberry sauce...

    *drools*

    Sad....yup.

You sound like my son! He used to moan that even celery in the fridge made everything else taste awful.

I love it though. Raw, cooked, whatever.
