Molson. Lots of them. Part two of a 3 day weekend. (That's for the benefit of the thread name change.):D

Grub wise. A big fry up (mainly the grill) of sausages, rashers, white pudding and eggs. Pork steak, mash, roasties, carrots and peas for dinner. Missed yesterday's dinner so just ordered a Chinese to go with the very last beer left in the house. That missing hour has me all over the place.

Boiled and glazed a ham with lingonberry jam, honey, strong Irish mustard and wholegrain mustard.

About to make up a big sambo with sourdough bread, real butter and relish. Cuppa tae alongside.

Tried to get some food near the pub I was in but the only place that was open could only give me rice as was allergic to everything else they had so I came home and had toast.

    I now want rice.

Delighted to hear it! Someone had posted a very similar recipe unbeknownst to me a while prior to my posting of the recipe so it never had much uptake. :)

I had lasagne and garlic bread for lunch in the loveliest little bistro, with wine of course.

And now I have more wine.

    I do love wine.

Are these sold as a 2 pack for microwaving?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,130 ✭✭✭Surreptitious

I popped into the shop to buy a salad sandwich and they were sold out so I went to the deli and they had burgers in foil. I just asked for red sauce, cheese, onion and tomato. The burger was in a really soft bap and it was huge! OMG so delicious. That was at 1 and I'm still totally stuffed. Lovely light grated cheese, not too much sauce and fresh red onion and tomato.

Just finished off a big steak, cooked to perfection with the juices running out under the Wedges and mushrooms. Crispy onions on top of the steak. The pepper sauce was nice too. Coke zero to wash it down. Book and bed now, maybe.:D
