Has Paul Collins left Today FM or is he just on holidays. Haven't heard him on in a while.

Having to listen to podcasts to hear the clues annoys me too. On one hand i think they want to drag it out.

Prediction: Dave Davin (SPIN) or one of the current 98FM DJs starts doing shifts on Today FM over the summer.

No Championship Sunday? :(. Surely someone else could do it

Edit: oops, was looking at the listings in the paper instead of just turning on the radio

Are today fm looking at trying to replace Neil Delameres show on Sundays with a similar type show or are they going to just stick to music from now on like the last few weeks.

Has it just been non stop music without a presenter? I reckon a certain Sunday evening presenter on SPIN 1038 with his tight links would be good for the slot.

I notice Ruth Scott seems to have quietly left Nova. Could she be getting a weekday show on Today FM?

How does anybody listen to Fergal Darcy? It's the one radio show I honestly can't stand.

His ratings can't be good there's no way people enjoy him as a presenter

He’s everything that’s wrong with modern day radio! Tracey Clifford isn’t brilliant but she’s a million times better then “Ferg”

I guess when a guy is trying so hard to seem important he buys aload of twitter followers should tell ya all ya need to know about him

As they say in fencing: "touché".

He is absolutely dreadful. Every programme revolves around some feature talking about “ back in the day”. It drives me crazy. The guy is continually talking about growing up and his past. It’s really really bizarre. Also what’s with that ridiculous growly voice he puts on?? He isn’t even suited for local radio let alone a national broadcaster.

He has a different accent every half hour.

He actually text into Joe Donnelly (who is in for Dermot and Dave today) who is talking about smells that remind him of being a teenager :D

Alison Curtis in for Dempsey, Joe Donnely in for Dermot & Dave. Did Today FM give the line-up the whole day off to vote or what?

Schools are off. D&D tend to have the same holidays as school teachers.

They also use holidays very cleverly around long weekends etc to mamimise time off and minimize usage of holidays

I heard a promo for Dick and Doms show this morning. They now have a slot where people send in jokes for the boys to read out. Jesus H Christ.

Do they still talk about funny videos on youtube to fill in 15 or 20 minutes per show or have the listeners jokes replaced this?

That's how I use my work holidays

    This isn't a long weekend?

Both had Christmass holidays. Dave out sick for a week in February. both on holidays for 2 weeks in march. Dermot in us for a week in april/may.

They'll probably have few weeks off in summer too.

So is anyone else starting to think Ruth Scott might be joining as Al Porter's long term replacement? She's gone from Radio Nova so I think that is a heavy clue.
