Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi all,

Looking for a high spec laptop.

I use it for software dev and graphic design.

I want something powerfull i cam bring round and plug into my 4k monitor in the office with keyboard / mouse then do the same at home.

Was looking at the zenbook 3, ravor blade stealth or the xps 13 ( id say xps 15 if they refreshed soon).

Need at least 16gb ram, dual desktop monitor set up and high end cpu.

What would you guys suggest is the best based om value?

I have purchased a few XPS 13 for senior management and they love it.
Mind you they only use it for the Office applications.

But I remember spec'in out machines about 6 months ago and found them to be the best value for the power and build quality that you can get for around 1200 - 1500

Why would you spend 1200e for someone to use office :confused:

I used this site for my last work laptop - https://www.pcspecialist.co.uk
Came quick, never had any issue with it.

I got an XPS 13 a few weeks ago. Love it, great screen and feels extremely solid. Also very light. Battery last about 10 hours, and that's the high res touch version.

I don't use it for work though so I'm not putting it under much stress

I read that as the company bought them, but senior mgmt only use office as they have people to do the other stuff for them. Nature of the world really!!
