Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Have we got a Nigel Farage waiting to be elected and get more power in Ireland?

Not so much for an Irish exit but moreso a person to expose the system and who it benefits.....perhaps Ming would be capable of doing it?

Mick Wallace seems keen to fight the machine......

    But he lacks credibility

More power IN Ireland or more power FOR Ireland? Bit of a difference...

True, Ireland needs an anti-establishment figure. Leftie speaking here so only really able to offer an opinion from that side, because can't spot any decent possible anti-establishment figures on the right. I think they need to be young, and there is a lack of new populism on the right in Ireland, Fianna Fail are populist of course, but no-one offering the anti-establishment populism we've seen in 2016. Think Ming would do a great job, Paul Murphy is too uncharismatic, a woman would be great , but Ruth Coppinger/ Clare Daly are too extreme for Irish voters. Always thought the weak power of the Irish President made it the perfect race to run an anti-establishment figure in. I know it won't happen but.. Blindboy Boatclub 2018 anyone? :)
