    Hi,

Hopefully this is the right place to ask for advice :)

My mother has a eircom/phonewatch alarm system which is 10 years old( i dont know the model yet but is similar to this http://www.adverts.ie/other-diy-renovation/eircom-alarm-box/1458025 )

is it possible to add a personal alarm fob/dongle so if she falls over she can press a button which will either set of the alarm or will call my phone.

    many thanks for your help

You can add a pendant to this alarm. Some of these systems can be set up to emit a series of alarm tones for alarm activation's by using its on board dialer. If not you can add a dialer triggered off a bell output. The only problem with either option is you would have no way of knowing what the alarm activation was. This system will communicate with a monitoring station and give them a full list of activation's. That is why they have used them in the past.
