30-27 on two cards seems harsh to Choi, but Swanson dug it out in the end for me.

    30-27 seemed unfair ?

Think he won the fight but don't think he won first round at all. 30-27 definitely unfair.

As great as his endurance was, Choi probably lost a good year or two off his career in that fight. Took an awful lot of big shots.

Why exactly? but everyone is entitled to their opinion. I did like watching Meisha though :D

    I find her fights exciting.

She's the most dominant female mixed martial artist we've ever seen. Will she come back with a fire lit under her and get her belt back or will she get creased on the feet again. I'm very interested to see.

Shes mentally ruined I give her little chance against Nunes she was suicidal over that last loss thats not a good sign,

Luke Thomas pointed out notice theres no footage of her loss in these promos.

Good comeback by Brown, but I'd have to think Cerrone took the first. Good round, thought it was going to be one-sided early on.

Back and forth second round, but have to think Cerrone pushing forward and the damage to Brown's face will swing it in his favour.

I have Cerrone two up. Brown certainly had his moments, but thought Cerrone had the best of both rounds.

Head snapped back nastily there, has been catching him with that all through the fight though.

    Jaysus.

    "Vicious body kick"

"It was a head kick, it was a knock out"

    Poor Mike.

Good stuff from Cowboy but I think there was plenty shown in that fight to prove he doesn't belong at the business end of the WW division.

Big Jon not leaving it for a stupidly late stoppage for once.

    Well done Jon.

He'd knock out light heavyweights with head kicks like that but he's going to be badly found out if he fights Maia, Wonderboy or Woodley.

One thing about Cowboy, he would probably fight again tonight if they'd let him.

They should do a 1 night tournament just so he can fight 3 times in 1 night.

If Max v Pettis is a good fight it might be the best 3 fights in a row on any UFC card ever.

Definitely a sleeper card. Didn't look great on paper but it's been a great night.

As long as he gets knocked out three times, I'm all for it. I do respect his fighting ability though, as head-wrecking as he is to listen to.

The last three on 189 will take some beating to be fair, this will have to be an instant classic.

Pettis doesn't seem to think Max can bother him with grappling exchanges. No fear in his kicks.

    2 zip max for me.

Pettis doesn't look like he has an answer for Holloway at all, just a few kicks that aren't really being delivered with any ill intent.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,052 ✭✭✭poldebruin

Holloway 2 up and looking about as comfortable as you could expect.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,052 ✭✭✭poldebruin

oh well a broken hand would explain the kicks....

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,520 ✭✭✭✭martyos121

You know Pettis is in desperation mode when he initiates the grappling exchanges. He has nothing to bother Max, only chance he has is a sub from the bottom.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,551 ✭✭✭EagererBeaver

Disappointing after the last two fights. Pettis is done as a top level fighter.
