    Same as Dublin fire brigade I'd imagine I starting recruit training 6th of Feb in Dublin 480 a week plus allowances for accommodation and grub in training then rises after pass out check out Dublin City council I'd imagine it b d same for Galway

    The current wage scale for Firefighter is: €859.20 - €1699.24 (including LSI) per fortnight gross. This is subject to change at the direction of the Council. A number of allowances are also payable.
