Hey, anyone ever buy one of these in Ireland, any good? what's the most powerful, lightweight, compact monocular you can get in Ireland or England for a reasonable price, Is 20x 60 good?
    Thanks

You really need to do some research as 20 x 60 would be a bl00dy great telescope rather than a lightweight compact monocular. You'd also need to carry a tripod to be able to hold 20 x 60 without shaking. If it is something to carry when camping 10 x 20 is more in the range you are looking for.

Forget the monocular bit and just do some research on binoculars (only two monoculars side by side) google will give you loads of info.

Edit> Here is a good start which will explain what those numbers 20 x 60 and hopefully should show you why they probably aren't what you want.
