    Hoping anyone can provide some guidance - I am limited in knowledge here so may have to type slowly

    We have a few company offices throughout Ireland and we want to display live KPI dashboards (e.g. Maintenance Service Requests, Energy Information...etc...) to our teams. At the moment we have laptops at each location, which are setup to display the URL(s) onto a screen, using firefox with tabs, and an add-on rotating the tabs every 3 mins, and the laptops to stay on through a script.

    Unfortunately, the laptops are built on a citrix environment, and god help me its terrible. When an update happens, or the wind blows in a particular direction, the laptops either restart, drop out.......whatever to stop them working. Its becoming very tedious and making them very ineffective. All over secured WLAN/LAN and IT are limited how much they can support in the security confines (e.g. preventing the laptops from autoupdates is a no - no )

    Looking for a better solution and would appreciate any guidance please. TVs are all relatively new and are SMART TVs but IT security is vert strict so need to do it within the confines of our own network (e.g. no displaying URLs over the internet). Looked at broadcasting powerpoint with embedded URLs but the dashboards tend to drop out of their own logons after a period of time.

    Would like some sort of a system where we can load URLs or pictures in a system that displays to a URL, where all the SMART TVs are doing is looking at that website which rotates itself.

    Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated (mods please move if you feel there is a more applicable forum)
