1500 BMC Glow plug wiring

Not a car I know it's in a boat I'm doing up but I'm sure the wiring should be close enough to a car so maybe one of you guy's could help me out, I'm looking for info/diagrams on how to wire the glow plugs and heater light it was run through a 5 pin lucas relay but other than that I have no idea Thanks.

I can't tell you for definite for a BMC 1.5, but I used to own an Austin FX4 2.2 diesel taxi, and rebuilt an engine about 30 years ago. I believe the plugs on that were 2V in series. Check the heavy red wiring on your engine, your pics don't show enough detail.

I think the relay should maybe be about 40A, and there may need to be a series resistor.

on watching the start of the YT vid, the plugs are not the same as my old 2.2, so don't take anything I've said here as 100% true, just my opinion. I've never had a 1.5 ....
