Outstanding save by Randolph there. Makes his clanger earlier on all the more baffling.

karius picks that shot out of net

I don't think jabbing Andy Carroll in the chest is a smart idea Sadio

we've no answer for teams who have numbers behind the ball :(

Mane is losing the plot, hook him before he gets the line.

just too casual from Origi.... again

Carroll doesn't look anywhere near match fit, even by his own standards.

It's great to see even though Karius has been having mares over the last few weeks he isn't been boo'ed by his own fans.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,113 ✭✭✭mada999

Clyne and Gini offer nothing up the pitch when it counts :(

Rubbish: That's what they have in every game and they beat most.

I think we are over estimating this Liverpool team...we don't have the squad depth quality... imo....

Klopp needs to roll a dice here, we need a win not a draw

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,653 ✭✭✭kingshankly

Firmino and wijnaldum have been very poor
    Milner has been terrific

    Milner has been terrific

    His corners have been shocking....

It's hard to be ultra critical of Clyne because he works so hard and gets into great positions, but his end product is dire. I'd love to see how his key passes and assists compare with the top full backs.

Liverpool need to get a goal from somewhere. Can't afford to drop points against these. Great point for West Ham, if they get it.

Bloody flicks and backheels when they're not needed.

Just didn't happen in the box. Nothing worked. Worrying the squad is so light.

Unlucky for west ham goal keeping error costs them in the end

he's really good at defending, the problem is as a Liverpool full back, most of the time you'll be attacking.....this is the difference in us getting near the top imo... Clyne and Gini need to be chipping in with goals

    Karius costing us points again.

Which he went some way to rectifying with his save from Henderson.

We've an awful lot of injuries at the minute and they've taken their toll on the squad.

We have not been playing as well in the last three/four weeks but have been getting a few points so just need to get through this sticky patch.

    Karius costing us points again.

We had plenty of time to recover and win that game but did not do it.

Shouldn't have to though. You can't expect the score 3 or 4 every week. 2 goals should win any home game against a team in the relegation zone.

Firmino being played out wide in order to play Origi as main striker hasn't worked IMO. Yes I know Origi has scored in his last 3, but the team looked a lot more balanced with Firmino as the striker.

I know Coutinho is injured so that has meant trying to change things, but if I were Klopp I'd be trying to find a way to revert back to what had been working so well pre-Coutinho injury. Maybe move Lallana up as one of the front 3 and Firmino back to ST?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 43,311 ✭✭✭✭K-9

Lallana would be an option or Gini on the left, he has played there for Newcastle.

I think the problem is Firmino form has just dipped in the last few weeks. Unfortunately it's happened the same time as Counthio and Sturridge are injured so Klopp can't even take him out of the spotlight for a week or so.

Yeah they usually save it for kids picking up their player of the year award to boo them during the speech.

    On your bike.

    Karius costing us points again.

A draw was a fair result, both keepers had howlers

His form has dipped at the exact same time that he has been moved out wide. Personally, I don't think it's a coincidence.

Personally I think he'd dropped off a bit about two weeks before moving out for Origi but I could be wrong.

I didn't see the Southampton game but had a goal and 2 assists against Watford and a goal against Palace before the Sunderland game and Coutinho's injury, if I remember correctly.

Well you obviously didn't watch the match if you think both keepers had the same affect.

Both keepers responsible for a goal.
The Liverpool defender more responsible for WHU's 2nd than anyone else.
A draw was a fair result.

One keeper made a really incredible save as well though in fairness so he redeemed himself

Yet Moreno is absolutely ridiculed by Liverpool fans because he's so poor defensively and attacks a lot?

Moreno is also really bad at attacking.

Really? A lot of the posts I've seen posted here and elsewhere are that he's caught out of position defensively never anything about his attacking threat.

Imo I wouldn't consider him 'really bad' at attacking, end ball is poor at times but attacking wise he's got pace and gets into decent attacking positions which would cause a threat.
