Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Probable lineups:

    United.pngSpurs.png

Manchester United have drawn their last four home Premier League games in succession – the first time that’s happened in 36 years.

Mourinho has only lost once in 11 previous meetings against Pochettino – the last of which was a goalless draw between Chelsea and Spurs last season.

Tottenham have a woeful record at Old Trafford, with 19 defeats there in the Premier League era – more than at any other ground in the country.

Tottenham have failed to score in each of their last two visits to Old Trafford but did win the last meeting between the two sides back April by three-goals-to-nil thanks to second half goals from Dele Alli, Alderweireld and Lamela.

    Form:

    United: LDWDDD

    Spurs: DDDWLW

Current utd manager against the next utd manager?

If Spurs come out and play like they did against us at the Bridge then they have a great chance of winning. I think it will be a draw though.

  • I sense this could be Miki Ryans day
He's coming good just when we needed him to do so

Think this will be a draw, unless Spurs come out and play like they did in the first half against Chelsea, for the whole 90 minutes today. Can't see United having enough to get the three points from the game.

If it's cup team United I can see a win but I fear it will be league team United and it be a draw.

No sign of Mata again, I have mentioned before that Jose sees him as a luxury and won't play him in big games, his goose looks cooked tbh.

He picked up a knock on Thursday :pac: You really should do a bit of research before you try to get your fix :D

Even Rooney would be better at number 10, Pogba has never played well there. Dropping Mata for our big games is so stupid, has been our best player this season

Erm, he's on the bench, if he has a knock he wouldn't be in the squad, delusional if you think that's why he's not playing.

United really have to win this to stay in touch with the Top 4/5 teams.
If they lose they would be 9 points out of the Top 4 & 5 (30 pts) and that is a very big gap.
Hoping for a good open game of football today.

    Ha I'm going blind. :D

Tbh for me the only reason he isn't playing is that there is no way he is dropping Mkhi or Pogba who are both on form and they are taking up the 2 positions that Mata has been playing.

Where should he be played, and over who?

No sign of Mata. He's goosed.

    Matas on the bench.

Within the space of a few minutes by the same poster.

    Don't engage.

No sign in the starting XI, I'm not the one who's saying he has a knock even though he's on the bench.

I'm relying on your support today tayto even in a token fashion.
I genuinely shouted for Dundalk the last few years even though I'm a Shelbourne man at heart.
    Come on you spurs!

Huge game today win and we are up to 4th and put a massive gap between Manu and ourselves!

Will be shouting for United in this because Spurs are filth. Vertonghen, Wanyama, Dier, Dembele and Alli are all extremely dirty players.

How does Rojo keep getting his game for Man U? He's awful.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,906 ✭✭✭✭PhlegmyMoses

I really dislike Rojo in defence. He's like Silvestre in that he can go well for 85 mins and then have brain farts for 5 that can cost us the game

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 4,292 ✭✭✭GreNoLi

    United very low energy.

Do players have **** all room to take a corner at old Trafford. Always a short run up.

Fantastic goal, we were in the hay penny place until we scored though.

    Glazers Out!

Is Neville just refusing to mention kane have the ball away to leading to the goal

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,740 ✭✭✭✭MD1990

Kane very poor for Spurs up front.

How it has taken until December for Mkhitaryan to get a run in the team is just terrible management from Mourinho.
