working and travelling through Europe

was thinking of travelling through europe this summer, probably beyween 3-6months, but was hoping to part fund it through jobs on the side, mainly farming or fruit picking or soemthing. maybe starting in the netherlands and working my way down. has anyone ever done something like this?
