Hi Cathal,

Thank you for getting in touch.

If there is a credit balance on an Electric Ireland account, the customer is usually refunded via cheque, however there can be other possibilities depending on certain factors.

If you private message any of us reps the Electric Ireland account number in question, stating that you are the account-holder and how your name appears on the account, as well as your address and date of birth, we will all receive your message and one of us will respond ASAP.
