I read and reviewed Bounty Hunter's preview I believe, so here's feedback on the shows from notes I took. (I still have to read the PPV).

    BWA Raw #1 -
Nicely done with the opening and the transition from Real American to the nWo theme. This stable is a great asset to your roster.

I liked the use of the Japanese text in the Toyota promo. Having her in an intergender match and winning was a good way to go if your future opponent for her is a certain UFC star.

Looking forward to how Batista is used and you made him look badass here. Great Hogan promo - you have his voice and mannerism down for sure.

Great use of Batista at the end. A very strong opener as I expected. Keen to read Show 2.

    BWA Raw #2 -
Great swerve to start off with Andre joining the nWo. I got a kick out of the logo on his tights.

Hansen having a feud with Money Inc will be very good if that's the plan. Keen to see who the partner will be.

I thought on the last show Toyota would face Ronda at the PPV but now I'm thinking maybe Aja?

Intriging promo with Hennig which I liked. I enjoyed him referencing he and Hall were drafted together - I wonder where his loyalties lie.

Great reveal of Bam Bam and the toss into the crowd would generate a lot of buzz.

I liked the ending and Hall no-selling the fingerpoke of doom was a great spot. Not sure about Hall getting himself disqualified as that felt like harming his own chances, but that's a small complaint. Another strong show.

    BWA Raw #3 -
Great opening promo and I liked Hall bringing up he'd never won a World Title.

Interesting angle involving Abdullah and Nicholson. Wasn't aware of it prior to seeing the video.

Good to see Bam Bam presented strong.

Hansen and Spivey is a great combo to go with.

I thought you introduced Molly and Victoria very well.

Main event was great with Nash revealing the ref shirt. I liked him screwing with Perfect and Batista and the set up to Hall appearing was really well handled. I like that you left fans wanting more. Another strong show.

    BWA Raw # 4 -
Hall vs Bam Bam felt like a big deal as Bam Bam has been built strong up to now. Great set up for the match with Hall and Hogan, plus Andre putting Hall through the table. You've used Andre well.

First blood match for Abdullah and Hannibal is a clever call. Sheik vs Sabu is going to be a great Extreme Rules bout.

Good Ronda promo - short and sweet. The women's match will be interesting to see who comes out on top.

    I enjoyed Perfect's fiery promo.

Main event was very good and Batista still emerged from it looking strong, which was good. I want to see Batista land a Batista Bomb on Nash at some point.

    BWA Raw #5 -
Strong opening with Batista. Hope we see him again before the night's out.

Really liked the Hogan promo and the audio element was awesome.

Ronda was presented well; she looks the favourite for the PPV match but I wonder will there be a surprise.

Looks like there might be some trouble for Hansen and Spivey coming.

I liked the big wild brawl at the end and Andre getting the win mad sense to keep him strong going into the PPV.

Another strong show and I've enjoyed how you've used this roster full of stars. Looking forward to the PPV and seeing how you book it.

I'm aiming to read the BWA PPV later and hope to get feedback on it before too long.

Thanks for the feedback MNG, much appreciated. Just on the
finish to the PPV - I've actually thought that since about two days after I posted it. Ending that match was the hardest for me.

I had about 3 different matches written out for that, one was a double turn with Edge and Trump forming an alliance to screw Hussan at all costs which made no sense at all given the booking up to now, another which had Edge going over clean, and the third which I posted.

Thinking too much about next year was my problem I think!

I've had some time free up and I hope to finish off Joe's shows and then get to yours by tonight.

    BH preview:
Ted Di Biase taking over just excellent loads of directions this can be taken now, can't wait for the shows

    Show 1:
Handing Hogan the strap and he chooses who he defends against, interesting move leaves me wondering who's the person to stop him. I like Perfect been booked strong. Building a women's division around Rowdy Ronda is a top move (I wanted to do that myself). Looks like Batista is going to be the man to topple Hogan. Great first show

    Show 2:
Have to say I kind of expected Andre to join the NWO,
it wouldn't make sense for Batista to get the upperhand yet. Gilbert getting a bit of Rowdy Ronda treatment lol. DiBiase abusing his power to become tag champs another good move. Hansen not taking any crap from him though sets up an interesting feud. Now, I didn't expect Hall to turn during the main event,
Kudos Sir for keeping me glued to what happens next.

    BCW (Beakerjoe) Show 4:

I really liked the opening segment with Paige and Del Rio mocking Blayze and Riddle. It plays into how you've built them already which is great. All of your shows have had brilliant opening moments which catch the attention straight from the off. Kudos. The submission match stip for Del Rio/Riddle is perfect by the way.

Bourne lays down the challenge to Neville and I'm looking forward to this match as well. I thought for a second Neville might cheap shot Bourne but the way you did it was better.

Another angle I'm loving is the Miz/Pillman one and the reverse 'This Is Your Life' was just brilliant. You obviously put a lot of work into this and the payoff was cool with Pillman shooting up Miz's car. I was sure when he tossed the valet the keys he was going to steal it but I liked the change on that even more.

The training videos of Asuka and Bull Nakano would be nice viewing and is a great way of building anticipation for the women's title match.

I liked the sneak attack by the Original Horsemen and how they locked Ciampa in the locker before delivering the spike piledriver on Gargano. Looking forward to the match at the PPV.

Haha, El Local is actually Riddle? Great call and Del Rio getting out of dodge was a nice teaser for their match too.

The ending segment was just great too. I love the transition of Owens from fan favorite to hateful bastard and loved his comments on Monsoon getting his dream match main event even more. Owens blaming Savage is great stuff and you can picture the emotion boiling over from Savage. The spitting causing everything to break down was nice and subtle too and we get our teaser to close the show. I think this is my favorite of your shows because of how well you've set up the PPV but the Owen's turn and powerbombing of Miss Elizabeth is my favorite moment from all your shows still.

Great job. I'm currently re-reading the PPV and will have feedback on that shortly.

    BH – PPV

The pre show match was a nothing match, but you made the most of it and Tatanka is a level above the rest too. Look forward to them appearing later though.

A blood feud to kick things off should get the fans off to a good start and you’ve brought Hannibal, a man I knew little of besides the WWE lawsuit thing (so thanks for broadening my wrestling knowledge), to life brilliantly. Some great descriptive writing here, something that’s been a staple of your work in drafts past. The new guy (to the fans anway) getting the win makes sense.

Sabu winning the family feud was the right call and the feud was a great use of both he and the sheik. I always loved Sabu, so happy to see him go over regardless.

The six man tag was a gruelling war by the looks of it, a match that would suit so many in this bout. Spiveys presence is a nice curious touch that asks a lot of questions which is always a plus. And the manner of the defeat doesn’t damage Bigelow and co either, so nice booking so far.

Your PPV really went up a gear in the womens match thanks to your strong drafting skills, some fine female talent here. …… Im sad Eddie Gilbert wasn’t more involved, a man who will be on my list for some slammies me thinks. You’ve used him perfectly throughout your shows and I was hoping for more, but what I did get was a Ronda Rousey show. She got put over huge until Aja took her out, which would put her over huge without Ronda looking weak. Good Job

DiBiases tease that one of his opponents might turn set the stage perfectly along with the added tease with the Varsity club, and it didn’t disappoint. Spivey turning made sense and Hansen looks strong in the loss too.

Nash v Batista wouldn’t be a wrestling clinic, but you wrote it perfectly from a psychology pov, esp the duct taping of Batistas legs, which makes Nash look very clever and Nash looks strong in his win, esp the manner with the big powerbomb to the outside.

Again, you do a great job with the post match too sweeting moment, you’ve done a great job of teasing possible out comes and making thinks very unclear (in a good way).

Perfect had to win and the sight of him Perfect-plexing Andre would be something, though if Im honest I cant visually imagine it. Pefect looks like a top contender here and I would love to see if he could make it as a champ against Hogan or Hall.

The Hogan v Hall match was great, and finally Hogan gets whats coming to him from all angles (DiBiase, Hall, Nash) and it would be an epic feel good moment not only for Hall winning, but for Hogan to be the man taking the pin and the humiliation that follows.

A great PPV from a well drafted roster. So many twists and turns, but logical outcomes in each match and I think the right person won in each match. Great job as always, though I expect nothing less.

BCW (Beakerjoe) Ultimate Chaos Part 1:
I liked the first match and agree that Paige really had to win here. Having lost her title and subsequent rematch she needed to get some momentum back. She's been one of your strongest characters and even in defeat Blayze comes out looking good.

The Graves turn at the end of the Neville match was intriguing. I figured this wouldn't be one and done but didn't expect Graves to attack Bourne given what has gone on before. That said, I liked it as it was unexpected and keeps both men strong as this feud continues beyond the PPV.

Again, with the Tag Feud I definitely feel that this isn't over between the teams so having the Original Horsemen win the belts was the right decision. I like how they cheaply got their two falls as well (the low blow switching momentum and then working over the injured leg) while DIY came out strong and pulled it level with a double crossface.

I didn't say this before but the psychology of the matches so far and the announcer's interaction is great.

Pillman stealing the match surprised me as I expected him to go over clean. However given the Miz's earlier actions in the match and how well you've booked him this feud is another that has some miles left in the tank.

Loving the starting matches to the PPV and already it's been strong throughout. Looking forward to the second part which I am currently reading through.

BCW (Beakerjoe) Ultimate Chaos Part 2:

Riddle goes over strong and I have to admit while I figured you'd give him the win, I didn't expect it to be in 3 minutes and 4 seconds. Del Rio attacking after the result was good too as it gives him some momentum back as you said. Again I love how your matches are building for the future and not once off for the most part. Really gives a feel of continuity about your fed which is something I was striving for with my own shows.

Nakano winning actually surprised me. I thought you had it set nicely for Asuka to retain but then I guess Asuka would have next to no challengers in her path going forward. It's a good idea having her chase the belt for once and this was a feud I really enjoyed so glad to see it may continue in the future again.

And now to the main event. Straight off I loved the death threats Owens had been receiving. Certain wrestling fans would be that loony so I thought it was a nice touch. Savage dominating the early proceedings would make sense with the emotion involved but I loved the trash talk from Owens intermittently.
The visuals were really good and the sidewalk slam through the chairs spot was one I really enjoyed. Savage putting life and limb on the line was great as well and the table spot was well done. I figured that was it when Owens powerbombed him off the apron but the arrogance of Owens in the one foot pin was another great visual and Savage kicking out would be a big moment.

The counter for the second powerbomb was great and then Miss Elizabeth's appearance was well timed. Owens then going for the Savage elbow drop plays into how well he's been portrayed here. The counter and Savage then getting the win was a brilliant ending to a classic match. I'm delighted you gave Savage the win before he disappears into the sunset and him symbolically placing the belt over the body of Owens would be a great image to end the show.

Overall you've really showed why you're the defending champ and I wouldn't be at all surprised if you made it two in a row this year. You've handled the running of the draft brilliantly and it hasn't taken away from another excellent showing. Thoroughly enjoyed the read from start to finish.

MNG (Mr Nice Guy) Show 1:
Nice opening segment with Ali and Steamboat and them trying to reason with Kurt. Team Angle turning their backs on him was something I didn't expect - I wonder if American Alpha sign up in their place?

Like the idea of the open invitational and Ultimo Dragon puts on a good show until Malenko uses the ring bell. Marufuji coming down would be a good moment and I foresee an interesting feud ahead.

Terry Funk looking for revenge for his brother could be a nice little storyline, interested to see where this goes.

Nice slow build to the inevitable Mysterio/Ospreay confrontation.

Love the Talking Grap name by the way for your after show. Interesting dynamic between London and Kidman which I'm sure will be built on over the coming weeks.

I like the idea for the number one contender tournament with the women. Any of the four would be fine contenders to face Mickie so no matter which way you go it will be good.
Really interested in the outcome of this 08 Code too. I think after the Steamboat/Angle story it's definitely grabbing my interest the most.

I enjoyed the main event and Steamboat getting disqualified given the circumstances made sense. The beatdown afterwards and Angle arriving and taking down his former team mates was great too.

I was expecting Angle and Steamboat to be your main story to be honest but I wasn't expecting Angle to turn on Steamboat so quickly. It makes sense for sure after Steamboat was heading home but the viciousness was really written. As usual a strong opening and I'm glad you got all your work in before the deadline as the draft wouldn't be the same without you.

MNG (Mr Nice Guy) Show 2:
Loved the little twist on words with Angle apologising to Benjamin and Haas. Despite what I said during show 1, Team Angle reforming is definitely the right move.

Malenko winning the rematch clean makes sense given the damage to Ultimo's leg and again Marifuji gets involved. Liking the slow build here particularly you referencing that he's not employed here.

Interested to see who goes into the MNG Hall of Fame this year. Something I considered for my own show but it would be a bit ridiculous given I only started my shows last year:P

Interesting start to the women's tournament and I was surprised to be honest that Cheerleader Melissa got the win but given Mickie's comments afterwards it was a good decision. Shirai will learn from the loss and come back stronger while Melissa has a great start.

Loved the big time feel of Mysterio's return as he's someone you've booked well in the past. Terry Funk attacking surprised me a little but it makes sense for sure and Ospreay coming out to make the save was clever.

The second match in the ladies tournament makes your booking decision even better actually. I liked how Shirai cost MsChief the match and it plays off for an interesting dynamic when they collide later in the shows. Good stuff.

The beatdown on Tiger Mask after the match and the resulting commotion was well captured. American Alpha debuting to make the save was great too.
Loved the gift being Team Angle shirts and it does make sense they would initially try to recruit them. I'm glad they turned them down and the challenge they issued is one I hoped would happen when you drafted these guys.

The end segment was great too. Good use of Todd Pettengill to further the 08 code angle and I'm intrigued as to what the weapon is that he's referring to along with who his boss is obviously. Loving this angle more and more as the shows go on.

MNG (Mr Nice Guy) Show 3:
Nice intro explaining Todd Petengill's involvement in the conspiracy. I also like the addition of the new title. You have a nice selection of high fliers on board and this will be a good way to showcase them.

Angle showing up at Steamboat's house was good. It's different and fresh and I also like that while Steamboat has seemingly refused Angle, we haven't actually heard a no just yet.

Interesting that Ali never gave Team Angle the night off. But keeping AA and WGTT apart for a week is probably a good idea and I'm delighted the match has been made.
AA also get a big win over The Eliminators and the post match handshake that turned into a beat down was good - London and Kidman then make the save.

Interesting that MsChif gets eliminated early on in the tournament, but Io Shirai continues to impress me. I'm liking her booking of initial naivety and kind of rooting for her to win the tournament.

Brilliant booking with Malenko losing the title in short fashion - I was wondering why we were getting this match for a third week but the little twist was great. Malenko can rightfully feel aggrieved and isn't really hurt by dropping the belt as a result of the twist. I'm liking this feud more and more as the weeks go by.

The draw in the women's match makes perfect sense when you see the leaderboard and both matches have an element of intrigue to them next week. I have a feeling MsChif will have a lot to say about the winner of the tournament despite her earlier elimination.

Nice match for the Eliminators and Kidman/London at the PPV. And Funk overhearing ECW was great. I have an idea who attacked Dory but I'll say nothing until we get the reveal next week presumably.

I really liked the battle royale to determine the contenders for the Skyweight Title. Malenko's inclusion was clever. I was certain Ospreay and Mysterio would be the final two but Malenko eliminating them both was a cool spot. Tiger Mask attacking Malenko after his mistreatment of Ultimo was awesome and now we have a fantastic match for the belt at Grapplemania.

I had an idea that Mysterio was the man in line for an MNG Hall of Fame berth given his history - but I was not expecting the mayhem that unfolded afterwards. I had forgotten you had Suzuki on your roster and he seems like the perfect counterfoil for... well, you apparently! This was a brilliant twist and something I never saw coming for a moment. Funnily enough it makes sense as to why you would do this, but say it ain't so about Monday Night Grappling! Great angle and again this is fresh and new and given the 10th anniversary of the draft - very apt. Great stuff as usual.

MNG (Mr Nice Guy) Show 4:
Nice opening to the show with the reveal of Terry being the man who attacked his brother. I suspected this last week but I still enjoyed the reveal and Terry trying to pass it off onto Kurt Angle. The reasoning behind it is good too and it should be a good match at the PPV.

Haha, loved the Simpsons jobber names. And Suzuki attacking after the match hammers home the point that all who don't leave will be wiped out. Very enjoyable. I also liked how you held off on The Eliminators who pick the bones of an already beaten down London and Kidman.

I expected MsChif to have a say for sure - and she delivered nicely. Melissa expecting her to lie down was a nice touch and the losing streak is over. I'm hoping Shirai can get the win in the next match as I've liked how you've built her up over the shows.

Nice face off between AA and WGTT. And while I expected Suzuki to attack, I definitely still enjoyed it. Makes perfect sense as AA are two of Ali's most loyal supporters.

Yes, I'm delighted with your choice to face Mickie James. It really had to be I think given the past few weeks and I loved the tease of the handshake then pull away as it shows Shirai is ready for whatever James throws at her. Great idea for the tournament and I'm looking forward to the match.

Chad Gable VS Kurt Angle? Now that's money. I liked the back and forth between them and I suspect shenanigans in the main event but let's see how it unfolds.

I'm glad you cleared up Mysterio going after Suzuki fairly quickly. It would make sense but the Ospreay match is one I've been looking forward to for a while now. I totally get why Ospreay would snap with the chance of his dream match being snatched away and if I'm honest I'd be rooting for him to get the win at Grapplemania.

Nice little match before Malenko brings out Suzuki. That was really clever. And Ali turns up before they can answer the question - I loved the build to Ali knocking Suzuki out with you assuring he wouldn't do anything. This has definitely been my favorite storyline of yours. Love the match type too as it would suit a boxer like Ali much better than a standard wrestling one.

Angle gets the win over Gable and that's definitely the right call given the circumstances. It would be an amazing match to witness however and even in defeat Gable would get a rub from hanging with the champ for so long. Loved the Steamboat reintroduction too. I'm glad Angle didn't back down at all because he's pushed for this since the beginning. Another excellently built match and it should be a hell of a main event.

Overall I'm delighted you got your shows in despite your technical difficulties as the draft really wouldn't be the same without your input. Looking forward to going through Grapplemania now.

MNG (Mr Nice Guy) Grapplemania Part 1:
Nice, fast paced match to start the show. I think this was the right decision too as you said Kidman and London would be best suited challenging for the Skyweight Championship and you need some strong challengers in your tag division. London turning on Kidman was something I thought you might go with earlier so that was a nice touch too.

I actually thought you might put over Tiger Mask here given he's been booked a bit stronger throughout but I understand the logic with Ultimo Dragon working in the underdog role for the match it would be a nice moment after the heels winning the first match. Your cruiserweight division is very healthy and there are a lot of fresh interesting match ups going forward.

Well colour me surprised regarding the women's match. I wanted Shirai to get the win as I felt she was best built to do so but I did not see this coming. Very well done and you could have Mickie turn heel after the shocking loss and become the obsessed, deranged stalker which she played well before only this time regarding her title. Plenty of options on the table and a great way to cement Shirai as top dog in the women's division.

Marufuji winning was definitely the right decision here as he has only recently won the title. The match was great though and the false finish spots would pop the crowd. I like how you had the fans behind Malenko as Marufuji wouldn't be as well known to an American audience but the refusal of the handshake would have gained serious heat for him at the end.

Again, I agree with you that Terry would benefit from the win more than Dory in what was a war. Funk having only properly turned gains serious heat and momentum as a top heel and Dory can come back in a few months fresh and unaffected by the loss. The ending was well written with the branding iron coming into play and the visual of Terry beating Dory down with a flaming bat would be replayed on highlight reels for years. I think this was my favorite match so far - and it's not even half way through your PPV!

    Grapplemania Part 2:
Great promo by Ali and I enjoyed the reference to one of your past main events (a personal favorite of mine).

I'm delighted Ospreay got what would be a massive win for him. The match was great and I liked how you kept Ospreay heel after the match. Your reasoning for booking was perfect and having Ospreay take the Skyweight belt would definitely what I'd want to see happen.

I loved the AA/WGTT match. It was written perfectly and had some great spots. The submission battle would be great to see and the finish would have sent the crowd into raptures with the high spot and the good guys prevailing. Haas and Benjamin showing their respect after the match was well done too.

Yes, I loved every bit of the Ali Suzuki match. I loved the initial dominance from Suzuki for two rounds. I loved the arrogance leading to Ali making the comeback. I especially loved you changing it to No DQ match when Suzuki was clearly out. The involvement of the Simpsons jobbers, Fibber Magee, and your two commentators was so well done. I'm also delighted about the result as it leaves the door open for you to come back next year (which I really hope you do) rather than closing it entirely. What I'm actually looking forward to if you do come back is how you book yourself next year because the heel persona on the shows was great.

The Kurt promo did everything it needed to as well because I was wondering would he address the Haas/Benjamin loss earlier. It's a great idea because now there can be no shenanigans in what should be a great main event.

And deliver it did. I expected this to be a technical war and it sure was. But boy were there some nice spots thrown in. The teased German suplex to the floor from the apron was my favorite I think. I loved the ending too and Steamboat just had to win given what Kurt had put him through. Going forward you have a number of guy to challenge the face Steamboat in the short term (I'm thinking Funk, Terry) and as you said the rematch down the road would be epic.

All in all this has been (another) great show. I'm delighted you got the full contingency in despite the issues and once again you're going to be at the forefront of people's minds during the votes. The Steamboat/Angle match, Ali/Suzuki and WGTT/AA matches will be on people's minds too for slammies and you definitely have a couple of contenders for the other categories. As always it was a great read.

And with that I think I've reviewed everything. Voting was tough especially in the three main categories, and to be honest there were no easy choices in the Slammy categories either! Looking forward to the results party night that beakerjoe has organised :D:D:D:D

    PCW Show 1
I liked how your show straight way seems like a continuation of your work last year, with yourself and Kennedy still present. By the way is that Buzz from the PS2 Game in the pics?

I enjoyed the female rumble, and you have a strong womens divison, probably the strongest drafted ever. I thought sasha was the fav her and to have her out so early intrigued me with what direction you’d take. I like the swerve with Nikki, I didn’t see it coming and Brie getting revenge later made sense. Vicki being champ gives you a lot of options going forward, esp with who could take the title from her. Good job

The Male Rumble put over Giant Gonzales huge and Ziggler lasting as long as he did makes him look strong. I loved the logical pairing from Rock and his daddy. Rocky Johnson picking up the win was a shock and one that leaves me curious of how you go forward. A strong opening show.

    PCW Show 2 â€
“ I liked the dig at Ryan Tubs to start your show. The Rock and Rocky promo set the tone for their relationship and it makes sense for both Rock to be annoyed and Rocky to be sad. I can see this feud being big already.

Sasha v Vicki has potential to be great in reality and Faye is well suited as her hired goon. Jericho v Ziggler would be a nice treat for the fans and both men in their prime would deliver. I didn’t see The Rock helping his dad, but it was a clever twist and I think Rocks motives are all sincere. A fun show to read and it lays the ground work for a good few PPV matches.

    PCW Show 3
    – Rocky challenging his daddy makes ense but I do feel for Kennedy. First screwed out of his match and now a proper rematch. Sasha v Vicki is building nicely. Ziggler v Jericho seems more heated and may lead to a PPV match I think.

Niki v Brie seems set now with Nikki’s attack and Corbin v Giant Gonzales would be a nice use of both men. And The Rock v Rocky is now set with Rocks victory. A tasty main event

    BH Show 3:
More good build for Hogan v Hall setting up nicely to be blown off at the ppv. Liking the interactions with Eddie Gilbert and the female wrestlers he's been used perfectly for comic relief. DiBiase just about getting out of dodge with their titles in tack keeps this feud going along nicely as well.
I was wondering when Victoria & Molly Holly were going to turn up. The main event kept Perfect's record in place without weakening Batista and now Hall has allies all things are running smoothly heading to the ppv

    Show 4:
DiBiase taking back some control and laying down the law to Hall, going to be interested to what happens Teddy by staying ringside all evening. No Holds Barred match is good idea as Hogan has the numbers on his side. Andre v Perfect I like this, it will be hard to remain perfect for Henning. Sabu v Shiek, I like blood feuds. Ronda facing all the women will be interesting. Who will turn on who for the money leaves me intrigued and you managed to keep Perfects record in place by attacking him and weakening Batistas chances. I'm still wondering who Batista faces at the PPV

    Show 5:
Nash is the answer to my previous question. Perfect been booked strong in the 3 on 1 handicap elimination makes me wonder is Andre in trouble. Finally get to see Rousey in action a nice warm up for the PPV.
Hot Stuff finally got some action lol. Nice ending to have all the main players in your PPV facing down as we go home to Wrestlepalooza.

  • Registered Users Posts: 18,010 ✭✭✭✭paulie21

    Wrestlepalooza Part 1:
Solid start, Tatanka winning made sense.
First Blood match would of been a fun watch, liked your line about normally just having to look at Butcher and he'd bleed. Crowd would really be hot after that Sabu/Shiek match. Good start to the main show. Rousey was booked strong but ultimately came up just short, I was rooting for Ronda so boo you man :pac:.
Spivey was always likely to turn but at least Hansen never quit and you have another interesting feud to book.

    Part 2:
Nash and Batista was the slobberknocker everyone expected,
a lot of heels going over so far wondering is there a twist in store later on.
The perfect streak lives on yay and he's not settling for the IC title. Hall finally achieved his big moment and Hulk got what was coming to him. Overall,
your shows were strong and you have every chance of regaining your crown.

I'm going to get votes in but im honestly struggling to get through all the reading as I am pretty damn busy at the moment as im about to take time off. Gotta say though fair play lads on some of the feedback given to others including of course my show, really appreciate the effort.

Here is some from when I thought i'd have time to make notes for feedback each time I read one.

    RCW BrianRegan:
The 2 night tournament idea is different and would stand out from the pack

    Hard Cheese (Wagstaff):
nicely recapped last year in your performance review and I was always a sucker for the dropping of the 3min line before a 3MW attack so that was nice plus Bischoff rolling in after them makes a lot of sense. He then announces Bret who really has to be facing Rollins...at least I hope he will be.

    BCW:
building up to Savage well and I love me some Arn & Tully plus Paige an ADR seem like great fun so the show starts strong for me. plus Paige not wanting her rematch to be a triple threat makes perfexct sense for her character and her disrespect of Blayze is very well written. Pillman too has me intregued and you are playing the loose cannon character well so far, love him bringing his own signs. I can't imagine bourne actually on commentary but he works well with graves on your show. The crowd would eat up Pillman and the Miz's build as you've described here imo. Obviously Riddle is being built up but its interesting to see him now mixing it with big names llike ADR. Randy & Owens... waiting for the heel turn... and there it is but in proper owens style you believe his motives for doing so although obviously not his actionss towards Liz

    MNG:
2nd cannot be good enough were not the BWA...okay you got me I laughed! Ali as GM is an interesting move (esp as a mult time BWA competitor). Interesting to see you usw Angle's drug issues - always thought this was something that never got discussed as much as some other such cases due to Angle still always performing like a Boss so it could be very interesting as it's fresher than say doing such a story with Jeff Hardy or someone similar. Liked the white har nod to last year as you introduce Steamboat. The press conference intros people nicely but the Lost code (along with BWA & Munster Maffia references in particular) obviously builds interest for your first show but not as much as your writing style did for me looking forward to reading them. the bits with Kurt and Ricky or Osprey and Rey for example although i do wonder will your card be clear before show 1 even begins. Still think Dory was an amazing bonus pick and him being branded would be a huge storyline yet its on your undercard I suspect which shows your PPVs potential quality... you really got a hell of a lot of backstory for you main event into a preview show, love how you used Little Ricie and the Steamboat family

    Oh and Beaker re
Perfect Perfect-lexing Andre. I actually couldn't really imagine it either but the finish of the match was also a link iirc, a link to Hennig Perfect-Plexing The Giant on youtube. So after seeing that it made more sense visually

  • Registered Users Posts: 18,010 ✭✭✭✭paulie21

Apologies to the others but am only going to read PPVs for remaining people and then vote

    Necrominus
Football in the groin lol I love that moment in the Simpsons. Nice start, Singh threatening to bring down the show needed to get his comeuppance and duly got them. Good back and forth action in the Tag Titles match, agree on the Dudleys going over and could imagine the reaction when Devon returned to help Bubba, a 3D through the announce table needed to win that match. Tarver has to leave town but not without one hell of a fight, excellent booking so far. Patterson and Graham one hell of a personal battle, you played Graham's concussion angle very well and as I thought he might lose you gave him a needed win and it's sad to see him leave but he got a good send off. Like me last year you had no women and made a concentrated effort to put them in the centre of things this year producing a quality unprecedented ladder match. Zack Ryder turning heel is certainly an interesting move and hopefully you get a chance to expand on it.Vader and Joe was a battle where nobody wanted to give an inch but Joe going over was the right move. Your ending left more questions than answers which isn't a bad thing it gives you scope to move forward. Overall, I enjoyed the PPV and you are certainly in the shakeup

    Daithi
Nice opening with a personal feud between Rowan and Harper and nice spot to finish. Rikishi winning the second bout makes sense if Captain Lou's prediction is going to live on through the night. Fun tag elimination action culminates in part 2 of the destiny coming through. Didn't suspect your interference on behalf of Randy but it worked well. The destiny is complete and a nice moment for the Anao'i family. Goldberg going into a match as an underdog is rare but he pulls it off, was kind of expecting we hadn't seen the last of Daithi and getting Orton the title would leave the fans wanting more.
Is this your first year? if so your not lost doing this and you definitely a contender.

    A Brad Maddox Guy
Warrior v Swagger seemed like a stiff battle with Warrior getting the needed win. Student overcoming the teacher in the second match and better use of Breeze than WWE has done. Good hard hitting tag action and one last moment for Randy the Ram. Can imagine the ladder match been a fun little match. Right ending for Shane and Foley, neither men would quit despite hurting. Solid main event to close the show was rooting for Lesnar tbh but probably the right call. Solid effort again this year

  • Registered Users Posts: 18,010 ✭✭✭✭paulie21

    Beaker Joe:
Women's match to open the PPV, good call and Paige needed the win more than Blayze. Neville getting the win with Graves help was a good call also. The Horsemen going over in the 2 out of 3 falls and as you say DIY can bounce back stronger. Poor Miz ha but you showed that Pillman was desperate to win and he proved it. Wow Alberto losing so quickly at least it can be contributed to his lifestyle though I wanted to see he and Paige win. Another classic women's match and Asuka finally loses. What a main event is all I can say, it would of been some match to actually see in real life. You have a real chance of retaining your crown.

  • Registered Users Posts: 18,010 ✭✭✭✭paulie21

    MNG:
Nice start to get the crowd going. Fun ladder match to crown the Skyweight champion, hard to pick between two faces but just the right call. Mickie losing in under 30 seconds makes Shirai strong I suppose. Match of the night for US strap and yeah too soon to change the belt. Another family feud but knew the Funks would be hardcore and bloody. Totally expected a Rey Rey win but your explanation makes sense. WGT v AA seemed like old v new and the younger guys getting the rub is the right call always. No way could Muhammed Ali lose and the match was entertaining. Main event time and a match for the ages, with Steamboat coming out on top. I expected an Angle win tbh but it worked well. Your definitely in the mix again this year

Thanks for the feedback everyone, it's much appreciated. I think I might struggle to get votes in unfortunately, between OTT and having to work late hours this week (still there now) I've not had the time to read any newer shows yet. Even tomorrow night isn't great as I'll be at the Dundalk game but I'll do my best to fly through them before the deadline.

    BWA Wrestlepalooza part 1 -
I was thinking Tatanka should win and I like that he did. Good pre-show opener.

I think it's good that you gave Hannibal the win and the way it happened gives Abdullah reason for a rematch, which is good.

I enjoyed Sabu vs Sheik and how you put over the endurance of both guys. I agree Sabu winning was the right call as there's more potential with him.

    On to the main show...

The Triple Threat vs Varsity Club match was booked well and I could see these guys all having good chemistry with one another. Spivey's appearance was well done and made sense. As you noted, Triple Threat come out of the match without being hurt.

The women's match was well booked. I think you've done a good job booking Ronda who has come across to me like a female Goldberg, which is a good thing. I liked Aja winning as it establishes a threat for Ronda to deal with from here.

The tag match with Money Inc was perfectly booked I thought, and leaves Hansen as a guy you want to see get his revenge down the line.

    BWA Wrestlepalooza part 2 -
Very well written match with Nash and Batista. I liked the early action outside and the spot with the duct tape and Batista getting out of it was great. I was disappointed Batista lost as I think you've done a great job using him, but on the other hand Nash probably needed a big win too.

Speaking of Nash, interesting interaction with him and Hall. I wonder is Hall playing mind games...

I really liked how you booked Perfect and Andre. Perfect winning makes better sense going forward and the Perfect-plex on Andre would be an iconic moment.

Nice last minute promo from Hogan and the spitting was a nice touch. I really want him to get his comeuppance.

The main event was a great way to cap off the show and I was very pleased to see Hogan lose and Hall get his moment. I think that's the right call. When Hogan landed the leg drop I thought that might be it, but good to see Hall kick out. Nash and Perfect coming down to share in the moment was good.

Overall, a great showing from yourself. I've read all the write-ups of yours in the Draft over the years and I can safely say this was one of the best. If it wins the contest I'll not be surprised. I'm sure it will be in the final shake-up.
