    Hi,

One of the people in our office opened an emailed file and infected our network with Locky Osiris.

I have removed the virus with Malwarebytes and I don't want to engage with the creators.

Can anyone advise as to how we can decrypt infected files?

Are there reputable companies that can decrypt?

We don't have backups or shadow versions.

    Thanks

Try these folks - they'll tell you if there is a decryptor available for your files. If not you are sh1t out of luck, because you have no backups.

Oh and don't pay them either. Latest I heard somewhere is that there is only a 1 in 5 chance that the bad guys will actually give you the key ... and if they do ... they'll be back in a couple of weeks time and charge you a lot more (you've paid once after all).

Lesson #1 - start doing backups using the 3-2-1 rule.

    Lesson # 2 - see lesson #1
