Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi, if i take out rear seats and belts myself and ply line the floor, is it a case of just having crvt engineer inspect it? Or does a proper crowd have to remove seats etc...? Thanks

There has been a change in regulation recently. I'm finding it hard to assess what the requirements are now.
    Anyone else wiser???

Think you're referring to a crew cab pb, 2 seat commercial is a lot more straight forward, there is something about removing the rear seat belt anchor points so that they cannot be retrofitted, but in my experience they often remain in situ.

Op it's best to speak to the 'suitably qualified person' that you plan to get to assess & certify the vehicle - they will tell you exactly what you need

If its a import you have to blank out the windows, usually with metal, but since its already paid full vrt as a private jeep then you should be ok with just the glass. Same as the floor, should be metal but id say you will get away with wood

You wont get away with either these days.

Metal in windows and metal on floor. Also in some instances you are required to weld the seat belt bolt holes or at least put the beyond use,

I was lead to believe it was the whole thing. If it's the same as before for commercialisation then yea, remove seats & seat belts, fill mounting points with weld, MDF or metal plate the floor to the back of the seats & weighbridge her. The window situation has been correctly detailed in the above post, clear glass on a VRT paid vehicle is permissable.
