Hi,

Just wanted to see if anyone has encountered anything like this - friend bought some items in a shop and used the contactless feature on his card for paying.

It appeared not to go through correctly twice and was successful on the 3rd go
When he checked his bank account, all 3 transactions have been debited from his account.

Has anyone any experience of this and how they got their money back, even if not using contactless and just using the card machine?

It happened to me before but was left as a pending transaction and then was removed so the money was never actually taken from my account.
