Hello I am novice looking to treat myself to a vinyl record player for Christmas. I want to display the player but also for the sound quality to be good so could you recommend me a whole system. I don't mind paying a bit for it so a medium range system would be what I am looking for not entry level.

    Thanks

    Monoman,

apologies for the delay - I'm not sure what price range you are looking at but here are a couple of options:

    Project Elemental - Turntable
    Onkyo A9010 - Amplifier
    Wharfedale Diamond 220 - Speakers

    http://www.richersounds.com/package/system-savers/hi-fi-system-deals/pah013213

We can do that system reduced from £559 to £449 + £6.99 delivery

If you wanted to step up and get a really excellent system we can do the Marantz PM6006 amplifier / Monitor Audio Bronze 2 speakers with the Rega Planar reduced from £795 to £699:

That would be a pretty amazing system without completely breaking the piggy bank..

Thanks again and keep me posted,
