IBM Internship

I said I would post this here rather than Work & Jobs as it is specific to Cork. Has anyone here applied for an internship at IBM Cork? I applied for the 2017 intake but I haven't heard back. I assume I am not going to get in.

Having previously worked there, they can be brutally slow to get a response from. Do you know which team you applied to work with?

I think it is only for students approaching the end of their degree (mine is from a good few years ago) so that is probably why I won't/didn't get in.
I got an acknowledgment email when I applied but it is a no-reply email so there isn't any way for me to query the status of my application.

In general, the internships are aimed at co-op students in 3rd year of a degree. That might explain the lack of a response.
