It doesn't make sense. How could Europe's vote for a song they don't understand?

So Portugal win for the first time ever.

They only have one neighbour so it totally disproves all the political voting that people go on about.

    That was always bs!

    Great song- well done!

The only people that complain about bloc voting are Marty Whelan and some members of the Irish media.

He's channeling the voice of Michael Jackson.

    Cuuntfusion at the end.
Bulgaria thought they won, portugal was sad, then happy.

    No confusion

Ok so don't agree with public vote for Portugal but at least as we guessed in our household Moldova + Belgium were high up there on television vote.

First time winning. Didn't need any pyrotechnics, background dancers, background singers, flashy lights etc etc. Really glad this won. Also really goes to show the "bloc voters" crowd too

I'm delighted the public put Moldova in amongst the top.

Trying to forget my feelings of love.
Teardrops rolling down on my face,
Trying to forget my feelings of love.…

There is always a bit of politics - Greece Cyprus for example, but what's the point of the committees? Great songs from Belgium and Romania rose up (that would have otherwise been nowhere) and would have been higher without these dumb committees. Portugal would have still one.
