I have been listing to the playlist on Spotify. I can't believe Czech Republic didn't qualify. It was for me one of strongest entries of the first semifinal.

For tonight, my top five favourites so far are:

    1. Italy
    2. France
    3. Belgium
    4. UK
    5. Romania

It's a good song, could do top 4, you never know.

lets hope so, small bet on under 550 winner points with bet365 which if it wins will ensure I should break even if Armenia flop.:o

Sweden is so poor this year, it so meh, I'm very disappointed with Sweden, its like they don't want to win anymore...

Loreen flopped in the qualifying this time round. Its no Euphoria but better than what they sent...

I much preferred Wiktoria, Ace Wilder and Marietta.

Ahh now, no need for pessimism - many of the punting public are a negative old bunch judging by this live trending:

Romania seems to have done well (unofficially) with the Jury last night, but can't recall it whatsoever.

Better than last week when it was Le Pen who was the most prominent on that page:P

Perhaps, but not sure Macron is going to solve anything for the 99%, Mel with those 3-day work weeks would've been an interesting social experiment.

Just watched Romania. Now if you remove the soundbar, any internal speakers and all subtitles from your 55" TV box it's a great wee song to watch.

Bulgaria is now within a whiskers chance of beating Italy and not far behind the current favourite to win (Portugal).
It's now a three horse race to the finish. If Belgium can manage a stage presence, will give them a vote.

Top Balkan @ 7/1? Def gonna beat Romania, Croatia and Greece.
Surely you mean @ 1/7? That's where it's at on Paddy Power at least.

Team Norton, I already know the numbers I need to call. :p

I watched Marty all along, but it's all going downhill now that we did not qualify.

the italian song sounded alot better with the orchestra in the italian song contest but the singer seems to be just jumping around in the big stage in kiev.

I wouldn't dismiss Italy's chances for a moment. It's a performance made for the big arena and with the crowd singing and cheering along : he hasn't had a chance to do this until tonight with the full house in.

I've sobered up now...and I can see that Italy really do have a dancing gorilla :D

Which you can barley see with all the darkness in the staging.

Yes 1/7!! 7/1 I'd put the house on it.

And it's not just a cheap gimmick either. The whole concept of the gorilla is based on Desmond Morris's famous book from the 1970s 'The Naked Ape' which is referenced in the lyrics :)
