    Not here, unfortunately.

But our Scottish cousins have initiated such a scheme.

    Scottish EV Loan

Thinking about purchasing an electric car or van? The interest free Electric Vehicle Loan, funded by Transport Scotland (an agency of the Scottish Government), currently offers drivers in Scotland loans of up to £35,000 to cover the cost of purchasing a new plug-in electric vehicle.

The loan can cover the cost of both pure electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles and can be repaid over a period of up to six years. Second hand vehicles are not eligible. The purchased vehicle should be the only plug-in vehicle owned by the applicant. The closing date for applications is 31 March 2017.

For more information about electric cars, to request an application form or learn more about the full terms and conditions please call your local Home Energy Scotland advice centre free on 0808 808 2282.
Please be aware that an application form can only be obtained through Home Energy Scotland advice centre. If you would like to request an application form please contact us on 0808 808 2282.

This loan is in addition to the UK Government’s Plug-in Vehicle Grant (discounted at point of purchase).

Find out more about electric cars and the support available to electric vehicle owners to install home charge points.

    Sorry dude.

Was always wondering why Electric Ireland don't offer something similar, and you pay it back through your bill.
It'd get stock shifted, and you've a guaranteed customer base for X years.

I've been on the fence for a few years now. I will swap eventually but something like this would entice me to swap very very soon.
