Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Radio backlight not working

    The backlight on my radio has stopped working, any idea how much this would cause to fix or any solutions? As in I can see the radio during the day but when it's night it won't light up like the rest of the dash. Stopped working about 2 months ago then starting working again for two days then stopped. Car is a VW Golf Mk5 for reference

    Appreciate any help

    What radio?
    Is it one of the touch screen ones?
    Possible that you turned off the back light in settings?
    I'd guess that the radio has more than one back light. So either they all failed at one,unlikely
    They have their own fuse, also unlikely or they are turned off.
    Iirc they should switch on and off with the headlights.
    Its possible the software isn't switching them on.
    I'm no expert but someone that knows Vag com might be able to tell you!

    Ya they should switch on with the headlights but no joy in this case.
    Its the standard radio, think its called the RCD 300
