    There seams to be a few squall appearing on the rainfall radar. The Limerick area got hit by the first of them at 10.30am it looks like there be more heavy bursts of rain for the next hour or so. The afternoon shouldn't be to bad with the rain cleared off. The wind will be moderate only strengthening in or near showers to near gale force.

    The squall just passed over us a few minutes ago here in north east Kilkenny, rainfall rate hit 140.4mm/hr and satellite signal went.
    Highest rainfall rate of the year.

    There must have been tornadoes in this squall line or at least the potential was there. You have the line echo wave pattern there.
