Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Reading it everywhere.

The Guardian and Irish Times both have it.

  • Dropping into a relegation battle :/
Not the most ideal move but would be a decent signing for Palace that's for sure

We hear all about the guys that down tools and want out and take the big contracts in China.

I want to bring up a guy who turned down the big money move to China to stay with Fiorentina. Nikola Kalinic took his time and considered his options and decided he wanted to stay put. Tianjin Quanjian, coached by Fabio Cannevaro, wanted him and he turned them down.

They're giving here a 250, 000, 000, 000 contract over 4 years. They are calling her their trump card going into the future!

I thought there was a good chance he would've gone to Burnley due to Hendrick.

Woah woah woah, hold your horses. Big Sam doesn't get relegated.

I'll be delighted to see him back playing in the Premiership once he nails down his place

They have won 1 league game and an FA Cup replay since September. they will need more than Brady to keep them up.

    Sunderland, palace and Middlesborough/Swansea

Big Sam doesn't get relegated. He'll find some way of keeping them up.

Unless, of course, he's a broken man after the England debacle, but it's pretty impossible to break a brass neck, it might get dented but that's about it.

I didn't mention Hull because I think the other 4 are worse off. All opinions though.

This "Sam doesn't get relegated" sh1te is ridiculous. We"ll see.

Draxler is by far the biggest.

Also, Morgan Sanson has gone from Montpellier to Marseille. Certainly not a high profile transfer here, but his next transfer will be to a big club for big money, he's one to watch IMO.

Hull accept bid from Middlesboro for Snodgrass also.

He will get higher wages at boro so I'd imagine he will go there.

West Ham now back in talks for Snodgrass. Boro huge drift out in the market.

Scheiderlin wasnt too shabby of a deal.
Just went way to smooth for most people to have noticed.

    E: we want Schneiderlin
MU: We want 22 million for him
    E: here you go
    MU: Thanks

    And.....Done.

Meh it's good but it's not quite a transfer saga unless there's 3 dodgy Spanish lawyers and 50 articles a day to be read and half of them in different languages.

Boro agree loan deal with PSG for Jese, trying to convince him to go now.

Would be an impressive signing even on loan for Boro.

Jese? ex Real Madrid Jese? Bloody hell, how the "soon to be mighty in 2014" have fallen.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,259 ✭✭✭HalloweenJack

Wasn't getting his game at Madrid, got a chance at PSG with Unai Emery but, from what I've read, his off-the-pitch lifestyle hasn't gone down well over there.

Jese has a rap album out I'm sure. although He should really concentrate on his football because hes not a bad player.

Van aanholt going to palace. Hopefully that means Brady to Burnley.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,625 ✭✭✭✭Johner

    £14million for Van Aanholt.

That's around £26m spent by Big Sam this window on two mediocre left back/wingers.

Now talk that he is going to Las Palmas on loan. He was born there. In the city. Not at the club.

PSV and Zenith have agreed a fee for Davy Proper.
PSV losing lots of players this window, most of them surplus to requirement but Narsingh (Swansea) and Proper were 1st teamers.

Surprised Barcelona haven't had a go at that yet. Poaching youngsters while they're still in the womb is the next football fad.

Huge money gone on Robbie Keane to Fulham today.
Odds went from 33/1 to 3/10 in a very short space of time.

Apparently he turned down a move to Celtic because they were only offering him £2000 a week. You'd think at this stage in his career money wouldn't be important, especially considering he's worth over €40 million.

To be fair he's a boyhood Fulham supporter though.

More the fact that he wouldnt get a look in at Celtic unless Dembele and Griffiths get injured
