Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Badstuber is a very average player in my opinion, if anything he'll make City's defence worse not better.

Premier League transfer news and rumours: Alexis Sanchez urged to stall Arsenal contract talks as PSG plot cut-price summer swoop

Other interesting 'rumours' include £800,000 a week for an English star in his prime to add credibility to the Chinese league with Dele Alli, Harry Kane, Ross Barkley and Daniel Sturridge being mentioned as possible targets.

I see the Chinese government are threatening a crack down on the mad fees and wages.

Don't understand Ake getting a recall. Surely this loan is doing him the world of good and it's not like he's going to get games for Chelsea too often (although he's good enough imo).

Absolutely mental, they could get Lacazette for less than that. Italian players also have a terrible record of adapting to the PL.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,480 ✭✭✭Chancer3001

Ake back to sit on the bench?

Maybe hell be first choice backup cb.

    Maybe they'll sell ivanovic

Weird timing with zouma coming back fit tho. He's a beast.

Maybe conte finally sees gary cahill isnt good enough at all

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 7,631 ✭✭✭Dirty Dingus McGee

Ake would be perfect as the backup LCB for Chelsea.

Good decision to bring him back as if they can avoid any risks with their team they should.

Lacazette wouldn't be able to play for Arsenal in the Champions League though

They've got Bayern in the last 16, I don't think Lacazette would even help them reach the quarters tbh, let alone Belotti.

I've seen Belotti play twice this season and once last year. Unless I've been unlucky with the games I've seen, he seems way overpriced even with his potential to improve and that's before you factor in whether he can adapt to English football or not, which rarely goes well for Italians.

I agree it is mental money wouldn't pay it myself and don't know too much about him , Not all Italians have done poorly though in England

Most likely there was no bid.
Torino creating some bid to get as much money as they can in the summer.

Christ I would like to think you wouldn't spend 65 million on a player you don't know too much about! !

Heerenveen took Odegaard on loan from Real for the rest of the season.
If Madrid keeps paying him his full salary, i am sure Heerenveen wont, he ll be the best paid Eredivisie player

See if he fares better than that other wonderkid who is in Holland on loan at the moment, Mastour from AC Milan who has played 124 minutes so far.

Liverpool "demanding" £20 million for Sakho  Considering they paid less for him and haven't included him in their first team activities in what (6 months) where are they getting that figure from ??

When you have the likes of Stones going for 50 you just have to accept that's the way it works.

He'd be worth a lot more if he wasn't a bit of a loon.
Someone is going to take the gamble and trust they can get the quality without the lunacy.

He's grand most of the time.

Hes a very good player if he matures a lot, still a lot of money to pay for a gamble, the Balotelli of centre halfs. I genuinely thought Liverpool had a gem when they first signed him

In the premier league today its not crazy money, gotta start high if you are leaving room to negotiate!

Schneiderlinn to Everton 22 mil or thereabouts being widely reported. A loss of 2mil on a CM gamble for Utd isn't bad at all.

Stefan Jovetic has joined Sevilla on loan with option to buy.
Inter meanwhile have taken Roberto Gagliardini from Atalanta on loan with an obligation to buy. I imagine they'll be turning down bids for Kessie until the window closes.

A few interesting European transfers, Wolfsburg signed Yunus Malli, Napoli signed Pavoletti from Genoa, Taarabt has signed on loan for Genoa, one time Liverpool/Stoke winger Assaidi has signed for Twente, Henrik Larssons son Jordan has signed for NEC in Holland from Helsingborg.

Might want to add Bazoer from Ajax to Wolfsburg.

Burgstaller (topscorer 2nd Bundesliga or Nurnberg) of to Schalke

Someone needs to submit a bid of £5m, West Ham style

He signed a 120k a week contract in February, West Ham have given him pretty much everything. Fairly **** on his part, he wants out fine but there is away of doing it. Refusing to train does nothing to attract potential suitors.
