Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Professional medical - personal problem?

I have a medical for work tomorrow which I pay for but then get reimbursed for when I start the new job next month.

I have a personal medical problem I'd like to ask about while I'm there but I'm not sure if I can or should.

    Any thoughts on this?

If it has no implications to the job then don't

    I wouldn't.

If it's a work-related medical, I'd keep quiet and go to your own GP for your personal problems.

You want your new boss to know of a personal medical problem that has no relevance to the job?

We can't advise you unless we know what it is.

Don't. See your own doctor instead.

We can't advise because Boards is not a Medical Site.

But... it's after hours... we can speculate...

Slight cough?, Genital warts?, leprocy?, it could be interesting!!!

'Personal problem' sounds like something you might want to keep private.

Exactly what I was looking for.

Edit: This sort of answer, not the actual conditions mentioned.

I reckon it's a job as an elf, helping Santa Claus sort out everything for next year, but the OP has suddenly realised they are allergic to XMas

If that is the case it is very relevant to the job and should be declared......

Personally, I'd go for an amateur medical. Much likely to give the answer you want. More so if you do a cash job.
