    The extended facilities are about one and a half times the size of the existing facilities. The work is out to tender at the moment - tender returns due before 8/1/17. Lets hope all goes well and work starts soon after.
    Attached files are the layout drawings. I don't see much by way of additional car parking.

    The Tender Notice reads as follows:
    112260 - Cronins Yard - Construction of extension to tea rooms at Mealis, Killarney, Co.Kerry
    Publication date: 16-12-2016
    Response deadline: 08-01-2017 17:00 Irish time
    Procedure: 1. Open Procedure (NON OJEU)
    Description: Cronins Yard provides a facility for climbers and hill walkers visiting the Macgillycuddy Reeks Area. The existing building comprises of a small tea room, toilets & showers. It is proposed that the extension to the existing building will provide a wider range of facilities / services for the public including a large tea room, kitchen, lecture room, store room and additional toilets etc. In the interest of extending the existing building, The Client is inviting tenders as per attached drawings and specifications.
