A plot like a bomb square would be a great way to finish this KT story. Bomb found in car in the garage. Love Hate's conscience plays with him and has to make a decision as to whether to release her. He wrestles with his conscience and does the right thing and although carted away by Deegan et al, rescues some sort of dignity and goodness for him.

But instead, we will get an unimaginative siege.

FC won't have the imagination to develop The Don's character into this down and out debt ridden individual, nor would they be able to do conversely similar role reversal with Wayne.

They have already sown the seeds now for both to reverse into their respective cliche lifestyles (with Wayne screwing up funds and Niamh having second thoughts about her Plan.)

I will give it a few weeks and The Don will be smirking at Wayne again.

So Katie is kidnapped since last May and held in a shack that the walls shake when the door is closed, a good kick and she could break her way out of it. She is also well fed and groomed and make up, does your man bring in the hair dresser to her every few weeks? Did he also build in a shower and toilet to the shack? As crap as FC is even i was surprised by how quickly Niamh has changed her mind and now shes going to try and ruin Oisin or blame a lot on Oisin, but really of all the characters in The Plan, and there are many, Niamh wins the most pathetic. She has no spine no follow through and no principles. She could have divorced him long ago and walked away with half his fortune instead of staying with him year after year. Laughable.
And i bet she will get away with it, Dermot will reveal that she was behind it and nobody will believe him! I hope Oisin stays hes a comic genius i fear he will be gone soon.

The Plan, plot holes official list:

1. How did Paul not notice his money was gone from October to February? He has several businesses and has a wide variety of staff, all of which requires wages, bills to pay, direct debits etc. He would have known straight away if his bank account is empty.

2. How is Paul ruined now? He still has the Garage, The Pod and a few other businesses, not to mention his apartment which he could be renting out. Why the need for a paltry 20 a day budget when he still has businesses making profit.

3. How come Paul hasn't even made the tiniest of links between his wife and all that has happened? All those meetings with Dermot, her calmness when it was revealed he was broke, her sly grins and digs at Paul.

4. How come Oisin hasn't made the link?? He knows Niamh hates him and blames Paul for pushing his daughter out of The Pod, plus Niamh always blocked his attempts to get a different accountant.

5. How did Dermot, a man barely alive after a major operation, manage to flee the hospital with NO ramifications. Why didn't the hospital alert the Guards, or turn up at his house to search for him?

6. How could Robbie know someone who has the exact type of medication that Dermot needs, and the exact amount??

7. When Paul reported the loss to the Guards, how come an investigation hasn't turned up the fact that Zoe is missing after her 2 week break?

8. How does a 12 yr old girl get that much time off school and how come NOBODY, from the school, the hospital. Ben, Jane, Dermot, foster authorities, Jo has once mentioned her. She went for a 2 week break in early December. Its now Mid February and there has been absolutely no sign of her, how is she managing for money, food, clothes, safety etc? P!ss Poor plot hole.

9. Niamh wanted to publicly announce she was leaving Paul but stopped when it looked like he was on to Dermot. But when Robbie refused to blow his cover later that episode, why didn't she go through with her plan?

10. Why doesn't Niamh just file for divorce? Hand over the pics of him and Hayley and walkaway to a new life with half his fortune?

11. How on earth can Jane, Ben or Dermot leave the country, haven't their passports been flagged as part of the investigation?

12. How come the hospital allowed so many visitors every single day?

13. How come the hospital allowed laptops into the same room and medical equipment?

14. Why did Niamh do so much of the money transferring on a pub wifi connection?

15. Does Niamh have another coat? She has 400,000 for Gods sake, a trip to the shops wouldn't go astray.

16. The money was in offshore accounts, how come Dermot has a massive bin bag of notes in the safe house?

Derms and Ben got fake passport from Robbie, cost 100k. I don't think anyone is looking for Jane.. In fact I don't think anyone is looking for a any of them except Paul.

Every single question is a good one.

I think #2 is one of the most pertinent : Paul has numerous businesses and properties, it's not possible that Niamh could "ruin" him by swiping a few bob out of his bank account.

#5 is another one that is stretching all credibility. The idea that a middle aged man who has just had a liver transplant would go on the run like a fugitive criminl and choose to spend the rest of his life abroad is bonkers. He would be too ill and tired to go anywhere and would need months of recuperation time (as well as regular medical check ups).

A few more questions to add to Wanderer's list :

How are the Gardaí managing to keep such a low profile while investigating a serious fraud case ?
Is it because none of the main witnesses, participants, or suspects are ever at home, they're in the pub, chipshop, or walking the streets?
Did Pete, Dolly, Caoimhe, Head 'n' Shoulders, Glenrose, Cash, and Charlie all disappear off the face of the earth?
Is Caoimhe's new(ish) baby still in her buggy on the pavement, even in this cold weather?
Who's changing the pillow - cases in Room 4 of the Dolphin Pod, now that Oisín sees himself as a kind of Mini-Trump?
How does KT exist on a diet of apples, crisps and Pringles for eight months? Does she never fancy a bit of hot food, just for a change?
Have both of Binjimim mothers given up on him? And could you blame them?
Why hasn't Niamh told Hughie the Hypocrite to mind his own bloody business?
And why are we looking for answers to these questions, as if anyone in the production team know or care about anything?
