    Dermot was obviously planning to put the money in an offshore account for his kids all along and for them to access it on hitting 18 thats quite clever and presumably its legally airtight in that he cant be done for taking the money from Paul.
    Makes sense really because why the hell would a dying man care about helping some scorned woman who will end up back with Paul anyway? Hes looking after #1. When he gets better he will have to face Paul if Paul finds out and takes legal action. Interesting times ahead...
    Oh and his name is Dug not DAWG.

    Not buying your Dermish theory at all here..surely Paulio will figure out his money was stolen before little Binjimin hits 18, making that plan ridiculous?

    Anyone else notice Dernot's nose tube kept changing. It went from the one elastoplasted to the tip of his nose to a half decent looking double nostril one. It even changed while Niamh was in with him at the end. Maybe that explains the bizarre laughing /crying! :rolleyes:

    No i meant that the money cant be touched until hes 18. Paul will of course find out but if anyone knows how to win this game its an experienced accountant. It never made sense for him to help Niamh that much he was just out for himself.

    Dermishhhhh is stone broke and can't even afford a trip to Cavan with his children after working for 30 odd years.

    Deeelighted that niamh gets her comeuppance and Paul's money is gone. Cannot wait to see oisins reaction when he realises daddy's pockets are empty!
    Pls let Dermot recover and him n Jane are the new power couple of carrickstown.
    And Dermot will be able to buy himself a new coat as well!!
